Being a makeup junkie, I keep trying different makeup products and techniques. I spotted this Face Sculpt Duo from Makeup Revolution a few days ago. As I am crazily into contouring these days, I wanted to give this makeup product a shot, so I grabbed it immediately. Today, here is the review of this product for you. My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Duo Face Sculpt:

Let’s begin the review with the packaging of the product. This product comes in a large and round plastic pan with a clear lid. This clear lid has the product name embossed on it with gold fonts. There is a sticker at it base mentioning the product details. There is no applicator provided with the palette. Overall, the packaging is nice but it feels a little delicate and can break upon falling down. The pan is quite large and does not seem very travel friendly.

This duo is basically a contour kit with one highlighter and a contour shade. The duo is in powder form. The contour shade is ideal for fair skin tones. It looks natural and does not impart muddiness to the skin. It helps to create a perfect chiseled look. I really love the subtle contour it provides to my face. The highlighter shade is good for highlighting purposes, but it does not suit my pale skin tone well as it has a bit of a pinkish hue. This highlighter shade does not impress me much. It simply works like a compact powder, so I pick another highlighting product and skip this one.

The finish that I get on skin is nice and matte. The contour shade has turned out to be great for me. Both, the highlighter and contour shades are decently pigmented. The color is easily buildable and does not feel chalky, but it needs multiple swipes to build up the color intensity.

The texture is nice and smooth. These powders are not really creamy or buttery, but still, does not feel any powdery and blends very nicely. They can be easily picked up using makeup brushes. Both of these blend amazingly giving a naturally sculpted look. It does not look cakey on the face. It blends very beautifully without too much effort. The finish is matte and it is good for people with oily skin.

The formula is not long lasting. The color fades after around 4 hours of application. If you love contouring on a regular basis, then this one is definitely a great product to try. I will surely recommend this product to you all. Overall, it’s a good duo for daily use.
