After being a silent reader for years and reading numerous product reviews, I have finally gathered courage to review a product myself. I am one of those people who have bought most of the products only after reading review from IMBB.

Off late, lots of Makeup Revolution London Eyeshadow Palette have been in limelight. I too looked up these palettes online and chose the one which seemed most economical to me. I was surprised to see that no one had reviewed this palette. Nevertheless, let me tell you how this palette fares.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Essential Day to Night Redemption Palette:

Packaging: It comes in a fragile black coloured plastic box. Very likely to crack if dropped. The plastic is transparent and closes with a click sound/effect which I like. 😀 Transparent lids help to identify the product quickly in case you have different palette from same brand. But, one must take care to clean the lid regularly in order to avoid a smeared in colours lid. 😛

Product: The palette looks sleek and cute and contains 12 shades. It is a mix of matte finish, pearl finish and shimmery shades. It also comes with a double ended sponge applicator brush. I wish they had given a bristled brush as sponge applicators are practically useless according to me. The shade selection is really thoughtful. It is one such palette that has all the basic shades you must own for office looks and party looks. This is the reason why I find this palette the most economical one of the lot. 😀

Day Shades:

White: Can be used as a base colour or brow highlighter.
Cream: Has little amount of shimmer. More like pearl finish.
Peach: Matte shade.
Shimmery Peach: Shimmer shade for those casual fridays!
Gold: A perfect shade for parties. But, can be used during day and night, both.
Metallic Light Brown: Pearl finish shade.

Night Shades:

Metallic Dark Brown: Pearl finish Shade.
Violet: Matte shade.
Black: Shimmery shade.
Grey: Shimmery shade.
Dark Blue: Shimmery shade.
Sky Blue: Shimmery shade (Actually, I would wear this shade for day looks too ;))

Swatch:

All the swatches are one swipe. These shades are highly pigmented. They are neither chalky (except white and violet) nor is there any fallout. They last for a long time irrespective of the primer. I have found these colours very wearable. It totally justifies its “Essential” tag. I just love everything about this palette, be it price, quality or quantity.

Pros of Makeup Revolution London Essential Day to Night Redemption Palette:

• Amazing pigmentation.
• Wide variety of colors in one palette.

Cons of Makeup Revolution London Essential Day to Night Redemption Palette:

• Packaging is neither attractive nor sturdy.
• Applicator.
• Available only online in India.
• Contains Parabens.
