My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Heart Vivid Blush Lacquer:

My skin has started feeling dry because of the approaching winters. The powder blushes look flaky on my skin. So, I picked some cream blushes for this wedding season and this Makeup Revolution Vivid Blush Lacquer is one of them. The blush comes in an airtight pump-dispenser. The bottle is translucent with a black cap and the cap shuts tightly. The bottle has the brand name and other details printed in black. The bottle looks bulky but it is made up of plastic. So, it is lightweight, sturdy and travel friendly.

The pump dispenser dispenses too much quantity in one pump. So, you have to be very gentle and careful while dispensing the blush. Only a slight press dispenses a dot-sized amount that is sufficient for single use. You will require a very small amount for one use. Applying too much amount of blush will give you clown cheeks.  The shade “Heart” is a dull rosy kind of shade with brownish undertones. The shade is just perfect for day wear.

The blush does not have any shimmer. It imparts a complete matte look. It makes the face look beautiful and natural. This shade will flatter so many skin tones. The consistency of the blush is soft and creamy. The creamy formula is easy to blend, it blends effortlessly without drying too fast, using a good stippling brush. This creamy blush is perfect for winters. It moisturizes the skin well without making it oily, but I think it might make the face a bit oily in summers.  According to me, beauties with oily skin should stay away from these cream blushes.

The blush does not look patchy and gives a pretty matte finish. The blush lacquer has an amazing pigmentation. A little amount is needed, so this bottle will go a long way. The staying power is 7-8 hours approximately. I have not used it more than that.

The blush is completely waterproof, you will require a good oil-based makeup remover to take off the product well. Overall, my experience with this product is awesome. I really love this blush.

  1. Holy wow. That looks really pigmented. I tend to go overboard with blushes, so I think I’ll stay away from this one – too easy for me to mess up! But it looks really worth it for the money!

    1. Yes, it is highly pigmented. So, you have to be very careful while applying it. A tiny dot is sufficient to get good colour. 🙂 🙂

    1. I normally use powder blushes but my skin has started feeling dry. So I picked some cream blushes. And now I am totally loving them. So, I am also going to prefer them more. 🙂 🙂
