So all geared up for Christmas? There is something about this time of the year right? With so much happiness, love, and hot chocolate around :P, the fun quotient really reaches the peak! And the product I am reviewing today totally adds up to the fun . It is a hot pink blush from Makeup Revolution London. Yes, you heard it right, Makeup Revolution, which is slowly making its way into everyone’s vanity bag!

My experience with Makeup Revolution London Powder Blush Hot:

To begin with, I have been thinking about getting a blush for a long-long time, but never bought one (I am more of bronzer person you see ). So I decided to go with a pink one of course, considering it will be a safe bet. I also wanted to try a new brand and Makeup Revolution came at the right time! Now, Makeup Revolution was launched in March 2014, and with the end of the year, it really brought a revolution in the make-up industry. Quality at such an affordable price is hard to believe.

Hot is a powder blush very aptly named . It comes in a round, cute no-fuss packaging. The transparent lid closes with a click, which is quite tight I must say, so you can just pop this into your bag and go. The quantity is good too, plus there are always discounts!

Now I come to the best part of the show, the pigmentation! Hot is such a beautiful pink that comes with great pigmentation. One has to be really light-handed while picking the shade on the brush. Just few light strokes on your cheek, and you get that perfect flush of pink. It actually gives the impression of that healthy color (one that you usually see on kids’ cheeks).

It is a complete matte shade, another thing that I really love. I thought there would be lot of fallout as it is a powder blush, but I was so wrong. It blends so smoothly, without any chalkiness. Once set, you can forget about touchup for another 4 to 5 hours! That’s way more than I expect from a budget blush. It can easily last a day with a good primer I believe. For makeup novices like me, this is not a bad deal at all!
And a little thing I got to know just now. My friend has Mac blush Tippy from the Hello Kitty collection. She says this looks similar. So if you are looking for a dupe, you can try this. And even if it is not a dupe, there is always room for pink, right! 😛
