My Experience with Makeup Revolution London I Heart Makeup Hot Summer of Love Triple Baked Bronzer:
First of all, I would start with the packaging. The packaging of the bronzer is very similar to Too Faced Blushes. I loved the packaging. The shape of the bronzer box looks cute. I was attracted towards the heart shaped box carrying the bronzer. The bronzer does not come in any plastic pan or palette, instead it comes in a very strong heart shaped cardboard box.
This box is quite strong and sturdy enough, that it will not damage while carrying around. Inside this heart shaped box, comes a white plastic pan, that bears the bronzing powder. The cover of the bronzer box has the entire product related details printed on it, in cute metallic pink fonts. The dull gold packaging with pink detailing looks beautiful and luxurious. The packaging is medium sized and fit for travel purposes. There is no mirror or applicator attached with the packaging but it is not a con for me. Overall, I love the packaging of the product.
“Hot Summer of Love” is a beautiful bronzer, that is apt for my skin tone. The golden micro shimmers in it, give it an amazing sun kissed look. This is not too shimmery or chunky. The best thing that I had found in this bronzer is, that the shimmers are not much visible on the skin and it just adds a lovely glow to the skin. The effect looks very subtle and does not look over the top or gaudy. It perfectly goes with my skin tone, without looking muddy. The pigmentation is average and buildable. It requires two-three swipes to get a perfect sun kissed look.
The texture is good and smooth or I can say it is very silky smooth. It feels soft enough and almost buttery. It is very soft to touch. It is not powdery or chalky in terms of texture. It spreads well on the skin and blends effortlessly. It does not melt on my skin. The shimmers do not budge at all and stays at place. It feels so comfortable on the skin. It suits my sensitive skin pretty well and never broke me out. Though, it is not powdery but still there is slight fallout issues in the pan while picking up the product.
The longevity is fine. It stays on my skin for some 6-7 hours with a primer underneath. So, I feel the staying power will be slightly lower without a primer and on humid days.
