My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Moon Glow Lights Strobe Highlighter:

Makeup Revolution has some amazing highlighters and I am a big fan of their products. Like their vivid baked highlighter, the Moon Glow Lights Strobe Highlighter also comes in a big, round container with a clear lid. It’s easier to identify the product from the stash. But, there is no mirror or an applicator brush inside the packaging. The product will last for a longer time, which is great. Overall, the pan is sturdy and travel-friendly.

The Makeup Revolution Strobe Highlighter comes in three shades and I chose the shade, “Moon Glow Lights”. It is a beautiful and natural looking shade, which will suit a lot of skin tones. The shade “Moon Glow Lights” is a very pretty, light pinkish colour that looks great on my medium-tanned skin. It is not like our usual shimmery, super glowing highlighter. It has finely milled shimmers which don’t show up on the skin. It provides a natural pink colour with a beautiful illuminating finish to the cheeks.

When I apply it on my face, it gives a luminous glow to my skin. As it is a fine powdery highlighter, my skin looks naturally glowing after application. This shade is deeply pigmented; only one or two swipes is sufficient. However, for that perfect strobe look, you need to build up the colour.

The texture of the highlighter is smooth and soft which makes the application easier. It glides smoothly on the skin without getting patchy or streaky. It provides a flawlessly smooth finish to the skin, which I love. Also, it doesn’t feel powdery or chalky after application. If you don’t prefer wearing shimmery products on your face then, it is the best option for achieving that non-shimmery glow. The highlighter gives a natural and subtle glow to my skin. It can be worn for your college and office also. It goes with all kind of makeup; especially for a light day makeup, it looks stunning on the skin.

Also, it stays for almost 6-7 hours on my face, and it looks nice even after a long day. It does not spread on my face and hence, there is no mess. Only, after 5 hours or so, the “glow” starts fading away. However, I use a makeup setting spray to prolong the staying power. It suits my sensitive skin well and doesn’t clog my pores. It is also easy to remove. Overall, I am obsessed with this natural pinkish highlighter. Initially, I thought, it will not show up on my face but, once I applied it on my cheeks, I fell in love with the provided glow. Honestly, I am addicted to this natural highlighter.
