Packaging:

The immediate packaging of the gloss comes in an outer rose gold colored pack with all the details printed in black. This cardboard packaging has a long window to see the gloss color.

The lip gloss comes in a transparent bottle with a black cap. The doe-foot sponge applicator makes the application so precise. The applicator picks up generous amount of gloss to complete both the lips nicely. Everything on the gloss’ bottle is printed in rose gold colored fonts. Over all, the packaging is travel friendly, sturdy and chic.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution London No Ordinary Love Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer:

Shade: No Ordinary Love, according to me, is a nice bright raspberry pink color with a hint of coral to it. What I mean to say is, the color is a subtle bright pink, but it has some coral-ish touch to it that balances the color nicely. The color is very pretty and I am in love with this shade. The shade will complement every skin tone and can be worn everyday as it’s not a super bright pink gloss.

Texture, Finish and Pigmentation: The texture of the gloss is something that you’ll just love for the rest of your life. The lip gloss is very creamy and smooth to apply. It spreads on the lips like a dream. And, it feels super comfortable and absolutely non- sticky. But, the brand has not compromised with the moisturizing properties of the gloss. It feels very hydrating as long as it lasts on my lips. The gloss doesn’t bleeds upon layering and generally you won’t have to apply a lip liner for it to stay in place.

This shade is more glossy and sheer as compared to the other shades that I have used. This one is more of a gloss than a liquid lipstick. And the finish is super glossy too. The shade is neither extremely opaque nor is it super thickness. But, it’s not poorly pigmented. It covers my slightly pigmented lips very well with just one swipe, but a second layer of the gloss does not harm either. The only thing that puts me down is the uneven application of the gloss. It needs to be applied properly and it takes time to spread this gloss evenly on the lips; maybe because of the thick color and creamy formula. This shade is perfect for people who don’t feel comfortable wearing super bright colors or opaque lipsticks.

Staying Power: Despite being a glossy product, it has an excellent staying power. It gives me a wear time of 3.5 hours without fading even a bit in between. After 3.5 hours, I have noticed that the color wears off evenly from my lips and leaves a subtle even pink tint behind. I eat some snacks in between, but didn’t have anything heavy because the color may not survive heavy meals. The gloss transfers very mildly to surfaces. It’ll not just transfer at once or slip off from lips and stick to cups or glasses.
