I have been experimenting with a lot of different new make-up products and with a total hype around about highlighting and contouring, I had to try a highlighter! I always used to look at those red carpet celebrities and wonder how their cheeks glow so much. So the secret was a highlighter. Read more to know about how my first highlighter worked for me?

My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Pink Lights Vivid Baked Highlighter:

Highlighting is one of the newest trends going on in the make-up town and how could I stay back? I got a highlighter from Makeup revolution London called “Pink lights”. There were 2 more variants available called peach lights and golden lights and it can be picked according to the skin tone. The highlighter comes in a round big pan which is very travel friendly since it gets closed with a click so no scope of its opening while travelling.

The cost on the other side is also very affordable since most of the highlighters cost more than 1000 bucks. The highlighter is pressed is a nice textured pattern which looks very appealing. The highlighter comes in a lilac colour but loses the lilac shade when swiped on the cheeks or the face. It has little micro shimmers that create that luminous glow on the face and gladly the shimmers do not look cheap or tacky on the skin. 1-2 swipes on the cheeks are enough for my cheeks to glow cutely. The trick is that it has to be blended for sometime so that it does not leave a pinkish cast on the cheeks which might look amateur.

The pigmentation is really good hence the glow is pretty much buildable. It nicely highlights all the key features on my face making my face look very fresh and bright. It does not make my skin oily at any point nor does it accentuate the dry patches, so this can be used by all the skin types. It gives a very healthy glow and luminosity to my pale skin, hence it masters in its work! My cheeks look damn cute and applying it over the blush creates a very natural romantic flush. Also, it looks amazing in the photos so this is photo-friendly too.

It lasts for 5-6 hours on my combination skin type with the glow gradually decreasing. It comes off easily with a make-up remover and all the shimmers come off in just one go. This totally nailed it and I am super happy with this. I am using it for every occasion and you should try it too!

Yes this is one of the most affordable highlighters which I have come across. If you guys are looking for a decent highlighter then do try this out and it has some colour options available too. This would go on a long way as we do not highlight the face daily, so no clue whether I would get it again or not!

Conclusion:
I love the look that highlighters create, my skin doesn’t have a glow that I could flaunt about but the highlighter nails it to giving a fake glow.
