Today I am really very excited. It’s as if I am on cloud nine. I finally received my Makeup Revolution products. I am going to review Romantic Smoked Redemption eye shadow Palette. I was a bit confused about which palette to choose and finally zeroed down on this. MUR is one of the most discussed brands on IMBB and this product definitely proved that it has amazing products to choose from. Read to find why I love it to the core.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Romantic Smoked Redemption Palette:

The eye shadow comes in a plastic packaging. The packaging is not too creative, it’s very basic. It is quite sturdy and travel friendly. It comes with a sponge applicator, which isn’t of much use as I tend to apply my eyeshadow using a brush or fingers.

There are total 6 mattes and 6 shimmery shades. The shimmery shades are:

• Cream
• Brown
• Peach
• Khaki green
• Light brown with pink undertones
• Reddish brown

The mattes are:

• Beige with pink undertones
• Khaki brown
• Lilac
• Black
• Greyish purple
• Cream with yellow undertones

All the shades are soft and subtle. They can be used individually or can be mixed and matched to create different looks. It is one such palette which can create looks for date, dinner, night out and even work time.

All the shades have good pigmentation. It is advised to apply an eye shadow base or primer prior to applying the eye shadow for better staying power and to prevent creasing. The light shades may take a little more effort, but they also turn out to be pretty good on eyes. The eye shadows glide on easily on eyelids. Almost all the shades have smooth texture. Only one or two mattes do feel a bit chalky. The fallout is very minimal or almost next to negligible.

The staying power of these eye shadows are around 6 to 7 hours that too even without the use of an eye primer. They start to crease a bit after 4 to 5 hours, even on oily eyelids without the use of a primer. This eye palette has left me awestruck with the price tag and its quality.

Yeah. There are no second thoughts when recommending this product. This is one such palette which can be very handy while travelling. The soft shades can be used for daytime, while the darker ones can be used for glamorous evenings. I would surely recommend every beautiful lady out there to get this.
