Hope you all are doing fine. Are you enjoying this Christmas season? I love this season, so exciting to go shopping with the stores being stocked with all new stuff. It is so tempting to buy so many things that are on sale. Today I will be reviewing the Makeup Revolution London, The ONE foundation in shade 15. It is so difficult to find the perfect foundation for our skin and I have been trying out different foundations. I hope this review will help you in choosing a foundation for your skin type.

My experience with Makeup Revolution London, The ONE Foundation in Shade 15:
I have very oily and sensitive skin, so it is very difficult for me to find a good foundation for my skin type. While I was looking at the foundations available on an online store I came across this make up Makeup Revolution London foundation. I ordered a dark shade just to try it.
This foundation is almost like water in consistency and does not have any fragrance. I applied the first layer and it gave a medium coverage, which I was quite impressed because of its consistency. This foundation is buildable and hence I applied 3 layers to cover my blemishes. You can keep building it up to your liking and it does not look cakey. I have a bb cream that is light for my skin tone so I mixed them both and it worked well for me.
Coming to the packaging, it is very sturdy and small in size, which makes it easier to carry it around with you. I did notice a little product does come out because of the runny consistency, but it remains on the nozzle of the packaging and does not spill out.
It is a little hard to work with the consistency of this foundation. Using a sponge will soak up all the foundation. So I would suggest you do not use a sponge, if you use a brush it is kind of difficult to get the product evenly distributed on the skin. The best choice would be to use your fingers because it helps you work the product into the skin and distribute it evenly. If you want to layer the product you will have to wait for each layer to dry a little bit before you apply the next layer.
It is reasonably priced. They have a good shade selection; I bought the shade 15, which is for tanned skin tones and I use it sometimes for contouring. It does give a matte finish and wears for about 6 hours.
Pros of Makeup Revolution London, The ONE Foundation in Shade 15:
- Reasonable price
- Good shade selection, for all skin types
- Sturdy package
- 6 hours wear
- Matte finish
Cons of Makeup Revolution London, The ONE Foundation in Shade 15:
- Difficult consistency to work
- Medium coverage
Conclusion: This foundation gives a matte finish and wears for about 5 to 6 hours. The consistency is watery and difficult to apply, but it gives you the advantage of your foundation not looking cakey. You need to apply a few layers to get a good coverage, but for full coverage you will need to use a concealer. The packaging of this foundation is very sturdy and easy to carry around. It is also reasonably price. I feel the foundation would be better if the consistency was a little thicker, which would make it easier for application.
I would rate this product a 3 out of 5.
Would I repurchase Makeup Revolution London, The ONE Foundation in Shade 15?
I would buy this product again because it keeps my skin matte and does not look cakey. I can also build it up to the way I like it.
I hope you liked the review and wish you all Happy Holidays. 🙂
