  1. Hi Tina,
Bangkok airport has quite few high end brands, like NARS, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Estee Lauder for makeup. I would suggest to stock up on NARS and Bobbi Brown* as these brands are still not in India and they are amazing.
I personally love NARS foundation and Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner.

*I am not sure with BB is in India or not

    1. Bobbi brown is not in India. NARS eye shadows, NARS blushes, bobbi brown gel liners would be good picks. πŸ™‚

You’d be able to find most high end brands on airport itself. Bangkok is famous for its cute slippers and bags. πŸ™‚

  2. dunno about makeup …. but please drop in at MBK MALL …….. great for SUPER DUPER BAGS AND SHOES …….. EVEN I WANA GO YAARRRRRRRRRRRRR …. PAPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

  3. That’s right – go to MBK mall, Siam Paragon mall, Central, Pratunam market (for clothes at wholesale rates), shop for drugstore brands at Boots and Watsons (you get super in-house brands of body washes and shampoos there too). Shop for bags and shoes at MBK – you will find virtually everything there. Also, the mall opp. Arnoma hotel is really good – it has a huge BIG C dept. store where you can get good bargains, or try to locate BIG C elsewhere in Bangkok. And do makeup shopping at the airport for brands that are not available in India. Hope this helps.

  4. pratunam market ………..WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW :hypnotized: :hypnotized: :hypnotized: :hypnotized: :hypnotized: :hypnotized: :hypnotized:
    WANA GO AGAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
WANA GO AGAINNNNNNNNNNNN :hypnotized: :hypnotized: :hypnotized: :hypnotized: :hypnotized:

  5. Oh if you’re picking up NARS – their eyeshadow duos are very good. They are buttery soft, very pigmented and blend very well. Some interesting duos are Cordoura, Kalahari, Earth Angel, Underworld, and Eurydice. The holiday collection duo is Melusine: a beautiful purple and silver grey duo.

  6. you could get good emerald jewellery…..available in a wide price range…….buy fake lashes if you like those….huge range and throwaway prices.
you could also tell him to buy colored contacts ….again there are a million brands available and they are inexpensive as compared to india

  7. Im from Thailand. I wanna help and Im just gonna throw in some info here. For Tina and anyone else who is interested.

Make up – Luxury Brands: Shop at the airport. Subscribe to king power before paying for 10% discount. Try drugstore brands at Watson or Boots (u find them in most of the department store). They have interesting global, local and japanese/korean brand which are popular now.

Platinum is good for clothes and accessories. It closes at 7pm thou. If u wanna shop at night, go to silom area (near phatphong), they also have cheap and interesting stuff. There’s Naraya purse shop in this area. The Japanese tourist loves this brand. Its good, its a designer brand and its cheap.

MBK is good for women’s accessories (watch, bags, shoes). But u can also find clothes and gadgets. It closes around 9pm. But some days they have open market on the skywalk outside MBK, u can get awesome deals too. And do not forget to bargain A LOT!

Go to Pantip for other gadgets thou.

If u come urself when u can…or any of u get a chance to….and can spend the weekend here. Go to Jatujak market. U get clothes, accessories, books, second hand branded stuff….they are even cheaper than MBK.

Fake makeup is also cheap here. U can find them at mbk, silom or random places.

Paragon have many luxurious brands and Siam square has more of trendy brands. Right opposite to it, u can get nice clothes from local designers.

Just FYI….Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Square are all near by. And its 5 mins walk to MBK. Siam Paragon is also 5 mins walk to Central World and Big C.From Central World, its another 5 mins walk to Platinum and Pantip. So this is a good area to shop.

Apart from Big C, u can find cheap clothes at Macro and Tesco Lotus. At these places, u dont have to bargain and worry about being ripped off!

    Happy shopping!
