My Experience with Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer – Hey You:

The sassy gloss comes in a sturdy plastic transparent tube packaging with a chubby black twist over cap attached to a fluffy cushion doe-foot applicator. I like the refreshing minty flavour and fragrance which is not bothering to my sensitive nose. I liked the user-friendly and travel-friendly packaging.

The shade “Hey You” is described as a fuchsia pink while it appears as a warm fuchsia pink shade on my skin tone. At first sight, it looks pretty similar to “Hot Hot Hot” but, the two differ slightly as the former appears as a blue based pink while “Hey you” is subtle pink. Talking about the texture, it has a luscious slight thick texture which does feel light-weight and easily spreadable on lips, without sitting on the dry patches or emphasising dry lips further.

I won’t call it tacky but, it has a bit thicker consistency which might be tricky for beauties, though, personally, I can manage with it as it keeps my lips hydrated for long hours. It slides easily on my lips providing a sheer to buildable coverage in few swipes with a juicy, luscious and glossy sheen. I can see that it provides medium coverage which may not be good enough to conceal dark pigmented lips hence, lip liner is recommended.

Other than the medium coverage, I personally vouch for its plumping, hydrating properties as my lips feel and look much hydrated, plumped up naturally; in fact, I feel equally soft, supple lips after which it fades away from my lips. It stays on for good 4-5 hours on my lips with a light meal, snacks while it fades completely after 6 hours leaving a soft, smooth and plumped lips.

I totally love the juicy, luscious finish of gloss which does not settle in lip lines or dry patches. I am also fine with its sheer-medium color payoff which seems good enough to cover minor flaws.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer – Hey You?
I would definitely recommend this shade to every fair-light beauty including beauties with dry, minor pigmented lips considering its hydrating, plumping texture and medium color pay off. Personally, I might not get it again as I have only pinks in my vanity and I need variation now.
