My Experience with Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Lip Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer – Hot Hot Hot:

The sassy gloss comes in a sturdy plastic transparent tube packaging with a chubby black twist over cap attached to a fluffy and cushiony doe foot applicator. I like its refreshing minty flavour and fragrance, quite a saviour to ease my morning sickness! I am in love with this chubby, adorable packaging.

My shade “Hot Hot Hot” is described as a bright fuchsia while it comes a bit subtle pink-red on my lips. I truly loved the shade in the packaging though you will find a number of pink lipsticks in my vanity but, I always incline towards pinks/reds when it comes to buying just another lip product. I was certainly disappointed to see a bit of subtle color payoff on my skin as I expected it to be a hot bright fuchsia shade. But, forget it, I love this juicy pink gloss; it imparts such a glazing juicy semi-opaque color payoff on my lips. I totally agree with their claims that the gloss imparts a cushiony, high shine enamoured finish with a non-sticky feel. Yes, even the sponge applicator feels so soft, cushiony to deliver a smooth, non-patchy finish on my normally dry lips.

The gloss is perfect in terms of the consistency; it’s neither too thick nor runny; it’ just perfect to glide nicely on my dry lips without sitting or clinging to dry patches nor does it settle into fine lines. And yes, it does impart a 3D shine almost giving an illusion of hydrated fuller lips as I feel quite soft plumped lips for hours. Not to forget, it does provide a decent hydration to my lips and I feel quite supple nourished lips even after removing it off.

Talking about its pigmentation, it provides a semi-opaque glossy finish (as I stated earlier) hiding any minor pigmentations smartly, while we can layer it on for a buildable coverage. Needless to say, it is suitable for everyone including beauties with pigmented and dry parched lips. I am sure with little basic tricks like pre-scrubbing; using lip liner/concealers we can achieve flawless results with this juicy, plumping gloss.

Now, not to disappoint you further, I had to mention that it may need frequent touch ups as the gloss stays for 3-4 hours on my lips, thereby, fading onto feeble pink sheen on my lips. Personally, I am fine with the touch ups as I usually pair it up with a lip liner.
