Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(Marc)able Full Cover Concealer Review

You already know my love for Marc Jacobs Re(Marc) able Foundation. This is the concealer from the same range. It comes in 7 shades. I have the shade “04 Glow.” It has a bit peachy undertone to it and that makes it a great shade to counteract grey areas on my face.

USD 32/INR 2200 approximately.

My Take on Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(Marc)able Full Cover Concealer:

This full cover concealer comes packed in this little glass pot with a white separator and a black screw cap. It is one heck of a full-coverage concealer. It is a very creamy concealer – creamier than many pot concealers that I have used so far. It has quite a unique consistency – it almost feels like a mix between a gel and cream concealer.

It is also a very high, rather a full-coverage concealer, and I really like that about it. This concealer does not feel heavy and if you still haven’t found a concealer that could hide your under-eye circles, you should give this one a try. The formula has a little slip to it that makes it easier to work with. You can sheer it down, but most of the time, it would give a lovely medium-to-full coverage depending on how you use it. A little goes a long way because it is very pigmented.

Whenever I use this one under my eyes, I pretty much like to set it quite nicely with a powder. I have normal to dry skin to start with, but a concealer this emollient definitely demands a good setting with powder or it tends to crease. It is definitely not an everyday concealer. It is more of a concealer when you are going for a party and you are doing your full-on makeup. This would give that flawless look to the skin.

I would definitely recommend baking this concealer to make it last long. I have worn it for good 7-8 hours and it has really stood the test of time. More than the under eyes, I like to use it around my chin area and spots and that totally helps in even-ing out my complexion. Since this pretty much takes care of my trouble areas, I sometimes skip the foundation and just finish off everything with a dusting of powder. I does not dry my under-eye area out or settles in fine lines, but then I set it definitely.

The only drawback I find with this concealer is the packaging. I am a germophobe, so I have to make that extra effort of scooping out the product with a spatula and using it from there. So, I end up using it less than as much as I’d want to use.

What I Love about Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(Marc)able Full Cover Concealer:

  • The amazing coverage.
  • How creamy and emollient it is.
  • How lightweight it feels despite being such a pigmented product.
  • Does not dry out the under-eye area.
  • The shade with a little peachiness. Works great on my olive skin to tackle pigmentation and darkness under the eyes.
  • Does not look cakey.
  • How teeny-meeny bit of it you need in one go.
  • Does not settle in fine lines.
  • Makes skin and under-eye area look flawless. I have used it HERE and HERE.
  • Is not overly thick and spreads evenly on skin.
  • The sleek gorgeous glass pot.

Cons of Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(Marc)able Full Cover Concealer:

  • The packaging, very unhygienic. Prevents me from using it on lazy days.
  • Definitely needs a good setting with powder or tends to crease.
