My Experience with Marc Jacobs Dew You? Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter:

Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The product comes in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser. This bottle comes housed in a back colored cardboard box. The box bears the necessary product-related information on it. The bottle has a frosty finish and it has the brand’s tagline printed on its neck in simple black fonts. The bottle closes with a white colored cap, which fits pretty securely making this bottle leak-proof. The bottle comes with a pump dispenser. There is no locking system of this pump. One pump dispenses good amount of product. The packaging is beautiful and luxurious but the glass bottle is definitely fragile and bulky to carry around.

The highlighter is gold in color and loaded with golden shimmers and has a hint of peach in it. The shimmer particles are ultra fine and non chunky. Therefore, it gives a nice champagne glow to the skin. The shimmers stay at place and does not budge at all. The highlighter is great and gives a nice glistened look to the skin. This coconut gel highlighter leaves my skin healthy and glowing.

I use it as a highlighter to highlight the high points of my face. One may have a full control over the intensity of the highlighter. This makes it a great choice for beginners as well and prevents the wearer from looking like a disco ball, but I always take a little product on my Beauty Blender and highlight my skin rather than directly putting it into the skin. The product sets pretty quickly so I had to be very quick while blending it into the skin.

I also prefer mixing it with my primer and foundation for overall glow and to achieve a healthy-looking dewy skin. I had used it with my BB and CC creams as well to get a nice glow to the skin. I sometimes use it on bare skin to achieve a nice and glowing no makeup look. It does not emphasize large skin pores and looks smooth on the skin. It blends beautifully even with fingers. I am so much in love with this highlighter. It looks lovely on the skin and does not look over the top. The shimmers are non chunky and are not much noticeable on the skin. The golden tint of this highlighter looks great on my skin tone and will suit most of the Asian skin tones.

The texture is nice and smooth. It is neither too runny nor too oily. It is kind of creamy and blends effortlessly on the skin. People with dry skin will love it for sure as this does not cling to dry patches of the skin. The texture is so lightweight and non sticky. It does not feel heavy or greasy on the skin. I have combination-oily skin and it does not make my skin oily at all, so it is suitable all skin types. It suits my sensitive skin so well and does not break me out. I am quite obsessed with this highlighter and using it quite often and I have not faced any skin issues with this product. The lasting power is somewhere around 5-6 hours on my skin, which is pretty impressive.
