Today’s review is going to be on a lipstick from Marc Jacobs. Marc Jacobs has been one of my favorite brands for eye and face makeup, but I never used to like their lip products, but after their Le Marc lipstick line, they have totally changed their lipstick game. The shade that I will be reviewing today is “Je T’Aime 238.”
A rich, creamy lipstick that redefines luxury with instant indulgent color while providing 10 hours of wear. Indulge lips with a color-rich, creamy lipstick in a sleek black case. In just one sensual swipe, Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick delivers indulgent color that lasts all day long. The unprecedented color payoff comes from concentrated color-boosting pigments that are triple-milled and enriched with hydrating ingredients—imparting ultimate long-lasting color and moisture. Your lips will feel instantly plumped and nourished from powerful peptides, antioxidant-rich seaberry, and natural humectants, including meranti and cocoa butter. Its subtle vanilla taste and scent mimic a decadent dessert. Just snap the case shut and hear a satisfying click, which Marc Jacobs describes as “the sound of luxury.” It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates.
My Experience with Marc Jacobs Je T’Aime 238 Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick:
Le Marc lip crème comes housed in a black plastic tube and with a magnetic closure. The name of the shade is printed at the bottom of the tube.
The formula of Le Marc lipstick is just amazing. It’s insanely pigmented and offers slight sheen finish with full coverage. It does not settle into fine lines of my lips and also does not bleed or feather around my lips.
The formula of Le Marc lip creme just glides on my lips like butter and delivers full opacity in a single swipe. It also feels very lightweight and comfortable on the lips and doesn’t dry out my lips either.
“Je T’Aime 238” is described as a rum raspberry shade, but according to me, it’s a muted plum-pink shade that will suit every skin tone. I thought it wouldn’t last much on the lips since it’s a satiny finish lipstick, but was surprised because it lasts up to 6 to 7 hours, leaving a stain behind, which doesn’t make my lips flat even when the color has completely worn off.
It also does survive meals and fades slightly from the inner corner of the mouth. People with sensitive noses are going to love this formula since there’s no fragrance. It also doesn’t cling on to dry patches, so you do not have to bother about prepping your lips prior to application.
Pros of Marc Jacobs Je T’Aime 238 Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick:
