Today I am reviewing Marc Jacobs Th(Ink) Highliner Gel Eye Crayon. First of all, heartiest thanks to our beloved writer, Kulpreet (KK). One day during our regular chats, we both came to know that we both own this beauty and haven’t reviewed it yet. She instantly asked me to review it. Thank you KK! My Experience with Marc Jacobs Th(Ink) Highliner Gel Eye Crayon:

Packaging:
With a heart stealer look, Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliners come in a silver, metallic, shiny packaging. They are gel eyeliner crayons and don’t need sharpening. I love retractable eye liners and lip liners. With simple twist up mechanism, you have a built in sharpener that gives you crisp and precise lines every time without reaching out for separate tools. The cap closes tight and the crayon is lightweight. It is safe to carry around in clutches and bags.

Texture, Finish and Fragrance:
Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Th(Ink) is a gel eye crayon. The texture is smooth, velvety and gel like. It glides on so effortless as if you are skating on a smooth surface of ice. There is zero tug or pull involved in application. It settles to a slightly glazy/satin finish as we get from good gel eyeliners. The result is same as you get from gel eyeliners applied with a brush combined with the ease of a retractable crayon liner.

For those who aren’t good at gel eye liners and eyeliner brushes (I am pointing a finger to myself), this is a blessing, truly! There is no distinguishable fragrance in Th(Ink). It doesn’t sting eyes and is safe for sensitive eyes. Also, it feels lightweight on the eyelids. The ingredient list is free of Parabens and harmful chemicals. It contains Vitamin E and rosa canina.

Shade, Pigmentation:

Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Th(Ink) 44 is a deep navy shade. Purely beautiful, it reminds you of a rainy sky in late evening or a feel of a dark mid-night sky. Navy Blue is my favourite color, so I can’t have enough of this beauty ever! The pigmentation is great and the swatches are of single swipe.

Wear Time:
Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Th(Ink) is completely waterproof and rub proof. It is extremely long wearing and stays on for 7-8 hours on average. After that, I have noticed some even fading in the eyeliner.

• No harmful chemicals, yet includes Vitamin E
• Great pigmentation
• Safe for eyes
• Easiest application
• A blessing for those who are terrible with gel eyeliners in pots and end up making zig zag roads on eye lids (I am a civil engineer :D)

If you want to have a great experience with gel crayons, try this! I found them better than Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliners as well. I am looking forward to have another shade from the range.
