Hello everyone!
How are you all? No matter how much you prefer a good salon for skin care and facials, a handy mask at home is never a bad idea. I have Marcelle’s Clay Mask to review for IMBB today. And, this one didn’t turn out to be as great as it sounds. Let’s see what are the thumb ups and setbacks in the product.
Product Description:
Filled with nature’s own healing and cleansing agents, our Clay Mask absorbs impurities and minimizes your skin’s oil production and reduces breakouts. Its creamy texture makes it a dream to use and once dry it is just as easy to remove. You’ll see clean, fresh, healthy glowing skin.
Hypo-allergenic and perfume free. Ideal for all skin types.
When our skin is oily, irritated, or just plain tired, we sometimes find ourselves wishing masquerade balls were in fashion: Slipping on a mask would be fabulous camouflage for a lackluster complexion. But thanks to this velvety formula from Marcelle, we can wear a mask for just 10 minutes rather than all night. Its clay-based formula is loaded with natural ingredients that leave skin instantly brighter and clearer.
How to Use:
Smooth a small amount onto clean skin, avoiding eye area. Wait 10 minutes for mask to dry, then gently rinse.

My Take on Marcelle’s Clay Mask :
Packaging is one of the few things I like in this product and the outlook speaks of good quality. Marcelle Clay Mask with Kaolin comes in a sleek white tube. The packaging is travel friendly. Inside is ash white colored mask. The consistency of the clay mask is soft and not thick; which makes the usage easier than what I had expected. It isn’t runny or overly thick; just ideal in this category. It is a fragrance free product and I like this part too. Now coming to the performance, let’s discuss the presence of witch hazel in the clay mask.
Witch hazel contains alcohol and Marcelle has taken benefit of it to make the mask suitable for oily skin types. Apart from that, clay masks are always a better choice for oily skin than dry skin. The mask applies easily and dries fast. Washing it off is easy even if you keep it for twenty minutes. The results on skin are ordinary in both short term and long term usage. The mask has a creamy texture so it doesn’t dry out the skin.
After washing off, skin feels smooth and soft. Skin looks fresh and deeply cleansed and the pores look smaller for a day or so. However, all these effects last for a day at max. So overall, this is a mask to get instant results and a fresh face, yet you cannot count on it for long term results. What I liked is that it is fairly priced and still little goes a long way.
Pros of Marcelle Clay Mask:
• Fragrance free
• Hypo allergenic
• Makes skin soft and fresh
• Reduces the appearance of pores
• Fairly priced
• Easy application and rinsing
• The tube lasts a decent time
Cons of Marcelle Clay Mask:
• Nothing much, but the effects on skin are short lived
IMBB Rating:
3.75/5
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Marcelle Clay Mask?
Though this is a decent product, I think I am more comfortable with my other mask. However, it’s worth a try, so I will recommend it to oily and normal skin types.
