Skin Type: Combination.
Today, I will be reviewing a body butter from Marks and Spencer. This brand has a good range of body care products such as body butter, shower gels, roll–on deodorants, scented talcum powders etc. and I was curious to try their products. I picked up this Blueberry body butter as I love the scent of blueberries. To know more about this product, keep on reading.

My Experience With Marks and Spencer Blueberry Body Butter:
Marks and Spencer’s has a wide range of body and skincare products that I was always intrigued to try out. They seem to have similar scents as the body butter from The Body Shop such as strawberry, peach, blueberry etc. They also have aloe vera, coconut and floral scented body butter.
The attractive packaging of this body butter drew me towards it. All the body butter have a plastic seal around the edges along with the price tag; the price tag is lost once the seal is broken.
The blueberry body butter comes in a bright cyan coloured tub packaging with a sticker on the top which has blueberries all over it, thereby indicating the flavour. The back side of the tub has all other information about the body butter. The lid of the tub closes down tightly, making it spill-proof and travel-friendly. The tub packaging might not suit people who prefer a hygienic packaging.
The body butter is pale blue in colour and is filled almost completely up to the brim of the tub. The body butter is quite thick and creamy. The cream does not spread a lot and requires repeated applications. On application, it feels moisturising on the skin.
It does not feel rich and heavy; on the contrary, it feels quite light and non-greasy. Also, the skin does not stay moisturised throughout the day. The scent disappears after a while. Overall, I am not very happy with this product.
Pros of Marks and Spencer Blueberry Body Butter:
- Attractive packaging.
- Amazing scent of blueberries.
- The amount of product for the price paid is good.
Cons of Marks and Spencer Blueberry Body Butter:
- The scent does not last longer.
- The skin does not stay moisturised for long.
- Tub packaging is not the most hygienic one.
- Does not spread too well, a lot of body butter is needed for one region.
- It is not very rich and nourishing.
IMBB Rating: 3/5
Will I Repurchase/Recommend Marks and Spencer Blueberry Body Butter?
I would not be repurchasing this as I like to switch between the flavours of the body butter I use. I also feel that there are other brands such as The Body Shop which make better body butter. I would not recommend this body butter as it is not as moisturising or nourishing as the body lotions that I have used previously. The scent also does not linger for too long. This might be a good option for women who have oily skin and are looking for mild fragrances.
