Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Moisturizing Hand and Body Lotion Review
I am back with another product for your winter skin woes. Today, I’m going to review the Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Moisturizing Hand and Body Lotion. I picked this up last June at the local Marks and Spencer Store. I didn’t discover Marks and Spencer’s body care line for the longest time, I was just bored while waiting for a friend at a mall, so I went around testing these lotions. They have a wide selection of body lotions and body butter, but I took the Fresh Aloe Vera Moisturizing Hand and Body Lotion for the smell that I felt when I tried this. I used most of this bottle in the rainy season, but saved some for the winters too. This is my take on it, so read on!
299 INR for 300 ml.
The price of this lotion was so tempting, that I wanted to pick up a few more. But, I have body lotions piling up at home and I had to resist. They also mention that this not meant to be used on the face, so this is in no way a facial moisturizer.
My Experience with Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Moisturizing Hand and Body Lotion:
When I buy something new, I have to use it immediately – or I’ll think about it all day, every day. I used this lotion the very night that I got it, right after taking a shower. When the name said “Fresh,” they meant it. This lotion gives your skin such a fresh feeling that you want to use more and more all the time. The packaging is simple and classy – I love it. The lotion has a beautiful light green tint to it and can be massaged onto your skin easily. The product has to be dispensed through a pump and that makes it very hygienic to use. My skin loved the lotion so much that it literally drank it up, the lotion is that easily absorbent.
The lotion does not smell like aloe vera, but it does have a very pleasant floral smell. The consistency is not too thick and it feels very light on the skin. I take about 4 pumps for each leg and 3 pumps for each hand. You have to use quite an amount, because your skin is absorbing all of it as soon it is spread. This is not a problem for me because I loved using this as much as I needed.
In the mornings, I apply this right after the shower and sometimes even go to sleep without reapplying it again. The next morning, my skin is not dry (it is not perfectly moisturized either, but it is not dry). This easily gives you more than 15 hours of moisturized skin. This is the least you can expect when you are using so much of it.
The only problem, is the packaging – the pump packaging. This does not make the product very travel friendly. I have even had it spill on a few clothes while travelling with it once. Luckily, it cleaned off easily from the clothes (in one wash). I should’ve known better to travel with it when there was pump packaging.
I have used this for about 4 months now, I am almost done with the bottle. This is one purchase that I do not regret one bit. It makes my skin feel very smooth and fresh. It is available everywhere and the price is very pocket friendly. Bottom line is, this is my favorite lotion ever!
Pros of Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Moisturizing Hand and Body Lotion:
- Pleasant smell.
- Provides up to 15 hours of moisturization.
- Pocket-friendly price.
- Great quantity for the price
- Your skin will love the product, it is easily absorbed.

Cons of Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Moisturizing Hand and Body Lotion:
- Packaging is not travel friendly, that’s all I can think of.
I rate this product a 5/5. I would gift this, recommend it and maybe even beg everybody to gift these lotions to me!

Really? I didn’t notice 🙁 ohh noo! It was perfect before this.
Off late frst thing I notice in a product is ingredients… all thanks to IMBB.. I was never this cautious before…
I have this M&S lotion in the cocoa butter variant. It’s moisturizing, it makes me smell yummy and it lasts long! But the pump is terrible, mine broke in a few days and it’s annoying to open it all the way to use it and now it lies ignored in my drawer. :/
Hey Abhinaya! I hadn’t faced an issue with the pump, thank god. But I guess we have to watch out for quality since it is very low priced!
this sounds wow manveetha. 15 hours of moisturization is just ridiculously awesome! I am def checking out marks and spencer skin care. it’s been a while. 🙂
I ran into the body butters yesterday…they smell heavenly!
