Marks and Spencer Cocoa Butter and Vanilla Cream Bath Review

By Shafiya M.

Hello Beauties,

This is my very first review for IMBB, yay excited! I am totally an e-commerce freak. I keep checking reviews of products on IMBB and buy them online. I know this is bad, but can’t resist after reading IMBB. Winters are around (the temperature here in Bangalore is almost 20 degrees, and I am loving it :D) and I was looking for a cocoa butter body wash. I came across Marks and Spencer’s Essential Extracts Cocoa Butter and Vanilla Cream Bath and ordered it immediately 😛 Read on to find whether I liked it or not?

My Experience with Marks and Spencer Cocoa Butter and Vanilla Cream Bath:

My skin type is normal to dry.  Honestly, this is my first product from Marks and Spencer. I was excited about the brand and cocoa butter which made me buy this product. The product comes in a huge transparent bottle with a screw cap. The bottle has picture of cocoa pods. The cream bath has a mild vanilla fragrance, which I love.  When I ordered it, I didn’t know it was a bubble bath. As I don’t have a bath tub, I use it as a body wash with loofah.

The product is a white creamy, runny liquid. I need only a coin size of liquid for single use, but whenever I pour the liquid on my loofah, more product will come out than required. As there is no flip top cap to regulate the flow of liquid, one needs to be careful. The cream lathers pretty well, I would just love to clean my skin repeatedly 😛 After the shower, the skin feels really soft, velvety and hydrated for a good 3 hours (without a body lotion). Sometimes, I don’t feel the need of body lotion (but I don’t skip though – its winters!) Once I come out of the shower, the fragrance is gone, which I don’t like. Come on, we girls love products with really good fragrance and want them to linger around for a while, but what if the product loses its smell in 5 minutes?? Nay!
