Product Purchased by IMBB
Hi lovelies. Today’s review is about a lovely product I got under the IMBB Sponsored Scheme. I love wandering in the fragrant shops, especially Bath & Body Works, The Body Shop and Marks & Spencer. I never tried anything from the M&S Beauty collection, and I was excited to finally purchase something. Here’s the review of the Magnolia Body Cream.
INR 499 for 250 ml (4 pounds, approximately 5.41).
Capturing the fragrance of sweet magnolia flowers, this body cream is richly moisturising and carefully pH balanced to leave skin beautifully scented, soft and fully moisturised.
My Experience with Marks and Spencer Floral Collection Magnolia Moisturising Body Cream:
The body cream comes in a tub, which looks very pretty. The 250 ml tub is surely bulky and not the most hygienic one, but using a spatula takes care of this problem. However, the screw on lid shuts securely, and if you want to carry it on travels, it won’t leak or spill. The tub has images of Magnolia liliiflora flower, adding a nice touch to the packaging. It has product details mentioned clearly.
The USP of the product is the fragrance. It has a beautiful scent of blossoms. The floral notes are not overpowering, and linger around, creating a lovely fragrance. I don’t know how Magnolia flowers smell like, but this scent seems to be a mix of garden lilies and jasmine – I absolutely love it.
The texture is smooth, buttery and lightweight. In the tub, it looks exactly similar to butter, but it is sans the oiliness. It is a perfect all-season moisturizer, lightweight and comfortable. It is not intensively nourishing, but the hydration it provides would be adequate in the summer months. However, if you have flaky, dry skin or live in cold weather, this wouldn’t be up your alley.
It gets absorbed in a few seconds, leaving my skin hydrated and soft. This body cream is best applied after a shower to retain moisture, and this works great that way. It won’t magically heal dry patches or cure flakiness, you would need some nourishing products from Aveeno or Vaseline for the same. I like it since my body skin remains normal most of the year and I need something easily absorbable. Most days, I get ready to go out after a shower and hence hate body lotions or cream that feel like an additional layer on my skin. This is a good moisturizer, quenches skin’s thirst but won’t stay for long. If you don’t mind reapplying, this beautifully scented moisturizer is a great one.
