My experience with Marks & Spencer Lily of The Valley Shower Cream:

I have been using this shower cream for a week now and I must say I like it.
The shower cream comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip cap. The packaging is very sturdy and it has not toppled once from the shelf .

As obvious from its name the most dominant fragrance in this shower cream is of Lily and if you like the fragrance of lilies in general then you will like this. The fragrance is subtle and not overpowering, nothing that a sensitive nose will not be able to bear.

The color of this shower cream is pale pistachio green and the texture is perfect for a shower cream, it is neither too runny nor too creamy. I use this with a loofah, it lathers up well and a little goes a long way. The texture is creamy but it washes off easily and wouldn’t leave your skin feeling greasy.

I have ultra dry skin and though this one has not worked wonders for it but it hasn’t robbed it of its existing moisture either. Some of you may skip a moisturizer after using this but people like me should definitely lather up some. I follow this with the hand & body lotion from the same range.

The only flip side is the fragrance dies down the moment you step out of the shower something which has never happened with my TBS shower gels. But, if you follow up with the hands and body lotion from the same range then you can get a decent staying power.

Pros of Marks & Spencer Lily of The Valley Shower Cream:

• Soothing fragrance.
• Sturdy packaging.
• A little goes along way.
• Cleans well.
• Inexpensive when compared to other brands like TBS.
• BUAV approved.

Cons of Marks & Spencer Lily of The Valley Shower Cream:

• The fragrance doesn’t last at all.
• Contains Parabens.
• Availabilty might be an issue for some.

Well, if you are a fan of Lilies, go ahead and indulge.

Will I repurchase Marks & Spencer Lily of The Valley Shower Cream?

No, I will not. The only reason for not buying this again would be the fact that there are so many other variants available. I’d better check them out. After all, variety is the spice of life, isn’t it? 🙂
