Marks and Spencer Magnolia Moisture Rich Foaming Bath Cream Review

Hello gorgeous ladies,

You all might know that I am mad about shower gels and cannot keep on using just any particular one.  There are so many options that at time I get confused as to which one to opt for.  I had gone to the mall and there I saw Marks and Spencer’s floral collection, and since I always wanted to try it,  I picked Magnolia to try, although now I am worried as to when I would be able to get another shower gel because this one is a bit too huge!

My Take on Marks and Spencer Magnolia Moisture Rich Foaming Bath Cream:

This particular range has 7 to 8 items and there were many different variants such as the rose, lavender, lily of valley, etc., but I have always stuck to fruity body washes, so thought of picking up a pure floral fragrance. Lavender was one option to go with but I have a lot of lavender stuff at home and the fragrance becomes repetitive. I think the other variant from the same range has been reviewed here called the Magnolia Moisture Rich Shower Cream. They both vary texture wise and also the smell is a little different as I have both.

Bath Cream 4

Coming to this one, it comes in a big, cylindrical plastic bottle, and is not at all travel friendly, but it has a floral design all over and looks so damn gorgeous.

Also, the cap is a little transparent white in colour and looks classy. I don’t think there is a smaller size, so I had to pick this one.  It will surely last for 3 months even if used everyday.  The one thing that I did not like about the packaging is that it has a very big mouth that dispenses a lot of product than needed.

Bath Cream 5

The consistency is runny unlike the shower cream. It lathers up quite well with the help of a loofah. Coming to the fragrance, it is a pure floral one. It smells like mogra and smells very fresh, but I have no idea what magnolia flower smells like, so I am describing it in my way. It smells like periwinkles and mogra blend and feels like the fragrance of fresh juicy flowers that we offer in temples. I have mixed feelings about the smell as it becomes a little too much after using it for a few days.  I do not like smelling it continuously; however, that differs from person to person.

Bath Cream 6

The fragrance lasts for a short time after the shower, but during the bath, it is a very luxurious and rich feeling that I enjoy.  It is moisturizing enough and you may not need a body lotion, at least not those who have oily skin. However, in winter, all of us require to moisturize our skin with body lotions.  Overall, I liked the bath cream, but I am not a great fan of floral fragrances, so will use this with breaks.

Pros of Marks and Spencer Magnolia Moisture Rich Foaming Bath Cream:

  • Nicely priced and available everywhere.
  • Good quantity, this bottle will last for 3 months at least.
  • People who love floral fragrances will totally like this.
  • It smells like a blend of fresh periwinkles and mogra.
  • The packaging is super attractive.
  • It smells luxurious and rich.
  • The fragrance lingers for a while after the shower.
  • Cleans up skin very well, lathers well.
  • Moisturizes skin nicely, however, it may not be enough during winters.

Cons of Marks and Spencer Magnolia Moisture Rich Foaming Bath Cream:

  • Not travel friendly.
  • People who do not like floral fragrances, would not like this.

Would I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Marks and Spencer Magnolia Moisture Rich Foaming Bath Cream?

No, I will not as this is a very big bottle and God knows when will it get over and I don’t really like sticking to one shower gel and I am not a big fan of floral fragrances.  Do sniff it before purchasing, not everyone likes floral fragrances.
