Winters have made a start already. It is time to collect body lotions and body butters now. So I picked up this body lotion from Marks & Spencer store recently. I have already reviewed the foaming bath cream from this range earlier which I liked very much, so I did not mind picking up the same amazing fragrance in the lotion form. Let us see how it fared.

My experience with Marks & Spencer Rose Moisturizing Hand and Body Lotion

This comes as a big plastic pump dispenser bottle. The bottle is huge, you cannot carry this along but it looks beautiful when kept on your dressing shelf (for me, it looks beautiful in my mini beauty mall at home 😛 )

Marks & spencer floral collection has been a huge hit. This one is the rose variant. Honestly, I did not like the other floral fragrances. But this is rose, like I said before, I have a partial inclination towards roses and this one is no exception. I was floored over by this fragrance in their foaming bath cream and since the fragrance does not linger for more than 1 hour with that one, I wanted to have this body lotion so that I could smell like this for long.

The fragrance is of English roses and I simply love it. This is an all time fragrance for me, be it summers or winters. It is neither very mild nor strong. It is medium and subtle. Girls of all age groups would love this fragrance.

The lotion comes in a medium consistency- neither thick nor runny. Let me be specific- for oily girls it cannot serve as a summer lotion, they can only use it in winters. For normal skinned girls, it serves as a lotion for both summer and winter season (except for the girls who face extreme winters like here in north India). For dry skinned girls, it will serve for only summers, not in winters. Like the present weather is, this lotion is apt for this time for my normal-dry skin.

They give 250 ml for this price which is decent enough I think.

Overall, it gets thumbs up from my side.

Absolutely yes, I love this fragrance and I can use this all round the year except for chilled winter months.

Yes, you must give it a try. For oily or normal skinned girls, this will serve good in winters too. For dry skinned girls it will work for this month max, not in December –January.
