Marks & Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Body Lotion Review
So now when the winter is almost here, I started experiencing the dryness in my skin. My skin being an extremely dry one, demands a lot from my moisturizer! Even in the summers!! Yes!! I’d been using the Nivea Nourishing Body Milk for Very dry skin throughout the summers, but for winters I wanted to pamper my skin with a great moisturizer. I was out for shopping when I came across the Marks and Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Body Lotion’s tester. When I tried it at the store, I fell in love with it and decided to give this a try!
Product Description and Packaging:
The lotion comes in a see through plastic bottle with a black pump. There is an inbuilt lock in the pump which is great as it can avoid accidental spilling of the lotion. Lock it when not in use! This makes it easy to use and the gold motif on the bottle makes it look royal. The lotion is a majorly moist and less creamy and only a tiny bit covers a good amount of body surface. This is not meant to be used on face but only body and hands. It has a wonderful fragrance which I love and it lasts for quite a long time, if the hands are not washed it stays up to 2 hours or more! I love to smell good and this lotion does the job!
Claims: Moisture rich hand and body lotion with royal jelly, honey and sweet almond oil which help to hydrate and condition your skin.
My opinion on Marks & Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Body Lotion:
The texture of the lotion is very moist and gives a watery shine immediately after application and makes the skin really supple and soft. The lotion has to be massaged properly and it will be absorbed by the skin. It will work great for oily to normal and slightly dry skin but for people with extremely dry skin like mine, needs reapplication after every 2 – 3 hours. However, it’s still good for me, because I’ve haven’t found any other lotion that stays longer than this on my hands especially. For the rest of the body it’s absolutely great till the end of the day. It can be applied before going to the bed as glycerin being its ingredient will keep the moisture of the skin intact. The fragrance is awesome and stays as long as the lotion stays on your body.
Pros of Marks & Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Body Lotion:
• Awesome fragrance
• Nice and easy to use packaging
• Glycerin based so really skin friendly
• Hydrates really well
• Leaves the skin soft and supple
• Staying power is good
• Worth the money spent.
Cons of Marks & Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Body Lotion:
• Wish the staying power was better, actually I expected a lot out of it :/
Will I repurchase Marks & Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Body Lotion?
Yes!! As soon as I finish this one, (though it’s not going to finish very soon) I’ll get this one and any other product from the range to try out.
