Marks & Spencers Lemon Verbena Hand & Body Lotion Review

Marks & Spencers Lemon Verbena Hand & Body Lotion

Hi Ladies,

If you read my posts here on IMBB by now you must be aware of my love for stocking lotions. So on my wedding anniversary with the Lemon Verbena shower gel I also bought a body lotion from that range. I wanted some lightweight citrus/fresh smelling body lotion for summers, so when I saw this lotion in lemon Verbena fragrance I picked it up.

Price: INR 299 for 300 ml

What product claims: Experience daily luxury with our Nature’s Extracts collection. This light, easily absorbed hand and body lotion enriched with extract of lemon Verbena will help leave your skin soft and delicately scented.

My experience with Marks & Spencers Lemon Verbena Hand & Body Lotion:

I use it after bath and it keeps my normal skin moisturized full day. It is not heavy on skin but texture is not very light, it takes some work to make this lotion absorb in skin fully. But once it is mixed fully there is no trace of oiliness or stickiness on skin, which I love for summers. I also like the packaging of this lotion, pump dispenser makes it very hygienic and easy to use. This is an ideal lotion you can keep in your guest bathroom because of this packaging.

Coming on the fragrance for which I bought this lotion, It has soft smell of lemon which is not at all over powering, but it does not stay at skin for more than 10 minutes, this is something I do not like about this lotion. I really wanted this smell to last, I use the shower gel and lotion from same fragrance range still this fragrance does not stay on me, and this makes me really sad.

Pros of Marks & Spencers Lemon Verbena Hand & Body Lotion:

• Light moisturization, apt for summers.
• Non greasy
• Pump dispenser is very hygienic and easy to use.
• Does not dispense to much product in one go, so no product wastage

Cons of Marks & Spencers Lemon Verbena Hand & Body Lotion:

• Not apt for winner and for very dry skin in summers also.
• Contains Parabens.
• Fragrance does not stay

Do I recommend Marks & Spencers Lemon Verbena Hand & Body Lotion: Go for it if you are looking for a light lotion for summers or want a lotion with pump dispenser, but if you are looking for heavy moisturizer with fragrance that ligers then stay away.

IMBB Rating: 3.5/5 (.5 marks deducted for poor fragrance staying)

Will I be repurchasing Marks & Spencers Lemon Verbena Hand & Body Lotion: No, I will buy some other variant in place of this from M&S.
