Mary Kay Oil Free Makeup Remover

Mary Kay Oil Free Makeup Remover

Mary Kay Makeup Remover

Before buying this product, I had finished a tube of Revlon Eyes and Lips makeup remover, which was rather creamy and was working well. Fortunately, I did not find that remover again and in that period, happened to hear about this product. This was recommended in many YouTube videos as well as a popular Delhi makeup artist. Since Mary Kay products are sold either online or through agents, I had to look up the number of a Mary Kay consultant and place the order with her which I did. The product was then delivered within a week or two and payment was made after delivery.

I loved this product and for some reason, trust Mary Kary products in general too. I intend to buy a couple of lippies from them soon. A couple of their best-selling products are this makeup remover, eyeliner and mascara. The new bottle of this remover is the one shown in the second image below.

What the Product Claims:

Gently removes eye makeup, including waterproof mascara, without tugging or pulling the delicate skin in the eye area. Formula does not leave skin feeling dry. It can be used on dry or oily skin. Shake until blended.

Ingredients:

Not mentioned either on the website or the bottle.

Price and Quantity:

This cost me around Rs, 500 when I purchased it and per the website its price now is Rs. 550. This is for a 110ml quantity and it sure lasts long. I bought it last year in March and I still have 1/4th of it left. I don’t use eye makeup that much, but I used it to take off concealer a lot. It is every bit worth the money.

My Experience with Mary Kay Oil Free Makeup Remover:

It is the best remover in the market today in my opinion. It is ideal for oily, sensitive, acne prone skin. Basically, if your skin has a temper and needs something calming, this remover will make it purr! It takes off the toughest makeup very gently. It is true to its claims of being very gentle and needs no pulling or tugging. It is completely non-messy unlike a creamy makeup remover that tends to get into the eyes. This is a clear liquid. I simply put some on my cotton pad and wipe my eyes and face. There is absolutely no irritation and the makeup is taken off nicely if you keep it on that area for 10 to 15 seconds. I am not that patient, so I typically wipe my face once with it and then use some more and wipe again to take off makeup completely. I am very happy with it and would always want this in my makeup kit. The only thing that comes close to it in efficacy is something natural like olive oil or milk.

It is pretty much fragrance free and packaged nicely in a nozzle-type bottle. Simply pour out on a cotton pad and apply. I find the cotton pads a waste of money though. They should definitely be cheaper!!

Fourth

Pros of Mary Kay Makeup Remover:

1. Completely true to its claim, very gentle, very effective.

2. Ideal for sensitive skin.
3. Value for money; Rs. 550 for 110 ml.
4. Lasts a long time.
5. Doesn’t irritate eyes/skin.
6. Not messy, a very clean makeup remover.

Cons of Mary Kay Makeup Remover:

Available only through consultants.

Would I Recommend It? Yes.

Would I Purchase It Again? Yes.
