My Experience with Matrix Biolage Fortetherapie Strengthening Conditioner:
I have reviewed a shampoo from the same range earlier on my mom’s behalf. Today, I am going to share her views on this conditioner. As I said before, she has been coloring her hair from the past few years now, and this range is especially for color/chemically treated hair. I have the smaller sized version. It’s a very sleek and compact tube, which easily fits in one’s palm. It has a flip cap with a small nozzle that dispenses the right amount of product and the packaging is perfect for travelling. I do feel that the price is slightly high for such a small tube and quantity when compared to other products in the market, but then, the quality is great and justifies the price.
The white colored conditioner is thick in consistency and has a very creamy texture. You need only a little amount depending on your hair length. It has a mild and slightly sweet fragrance, nothing too strong, which barely lingers for a few minutes. It spreads very easily on damp hair and does not feel heavy at all. It takes some effort while rinsing it out, due to the thick texture, but does not leave behind any residue at all. It tames frizziness and flyaways very effectively and makes hair very smooth and soft to touch, along with adding noticeable shine. When paired with the shampoo from the same range, the combination is just perfect for chemically-treated hair. It did not cause any hair fall on my mom’s hair. Although she does not have frizzy hair like mine, it effectively removed all the tangles without weighing down hair.
I also tried this conditioner once and I am very pleased. With just a single use, it controlled my frizzy hair very well and added amazing shine and bounce to hair. I hate conditioners that weigh down my hair, but with this one, that did not happen. After using this conditioner, my hair becomes very manageable and tangle free making styling very easy. So, the next time, I am going to get a bigger bottle and it is definitely going to be a regular for my mom as well.
