As I had mentioned in a recent post, Matrix rarely fails, I do not think twice before picking up stuff from this brand. Here is the review on the Smoothing Conditioner from Matrix.
Rs. 180/- for 98 gm.
Matrix Biolage Smooth Proof Smoothing Conditioner provides humidity control and anti-frizz smoothness. This deep smoothing conditioner softens and detangles hair while providing static control. It deeply conditions for a polished shine, smoothness, lasting control and manageability. It is inspired by nature’s water resistant camellia and provides control and anti-frizz smoothness even in 97% humidity.
My Experience with Matrix Biolage Smoothproof Camellia Smoothing Conditioner:
The conditioner comes in regular tube packaging with a flip top yellow plastic cap. Ingredients and details about the product are mentioned at the back. The opening dispenses the right amount of the product. Being 98 gm packaging, it is easy to carry along on travels.
The texture of the conditioner is smooth and light. It spreads well on damp hair without creating much mess. It is neither too thick nor too runny in consistency. It has a lovely smell which stays on for a while after washing off. I would have loved if the fragrance stayed on a bit longer.
The effectiveness of the conditioner is not up to the mark. It does smoothen out the hair, but nothing remarkable; it can be considered as a regular conditioner, but do not expect miraculous results from this. It does not tame frizz or fly-aways, but takes care of the dryness to an extent. I was expecting it to work better, but I am slightly disappointed looking at the end results. I will not repurchase or recommend this conditioner to people who want something to tame frizz or treat fly away.
Pros of Matrix Biolage Smoothproof Camellia Smoothing Conditioner:
- Easy to carry along.
- Nice smell.
- Smooth texture.
- No parabens.
Cons of Matrix Biolage Smoothproof Camellia Smoothing Conditioner:
- Not very effective.
- Minimum smoothness.
