My experience with Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick in English Rose:
First the packaging it’s a square matt golden finish box with color coordinated bottom. The shade name and number is written at the bottom centre. Packaging is sturdy and has a perfect shape for grip.
The texture, very creamy formula sits on the lip and doesn’t feel heavy at all. There are creamy, shimmery and frosty shades available in this range. I am not a huge fan of max factor but I prefer this range of lipsticks.
The moisturizing effect of this lipstick is amazing as it keeps your lip very well hydrated as a lip balm. It doesn’t dry off after hour of application like many other lipstick do. Doesn’t sit on lip lines, so it clearly moisturizes the lips and keep them hydrated.
The shade, English rose is a nice rosy pink color with frosted effect. The color is very versatile and flattering and you can wear it with abundance of eyes and cheek colors.
This is a frosty shade so people who don’t like frosty look should stay away for it. It lasts for good 4-5 hours on my lips and fades evenly with a light tint on the lips.
Overall I am really impressed with the new Elixir lipsticks. They smell yummy and come in a great variety of shades. The Elixir formula contains a 60% blend of skin emollients, conditioners and antioxidants (including vitamin E), promising to make lips feel smoother in 7 days. After a week long trial I didn’t notice any dramatic change in the texture of my lips (though I do put on a balm overnight anyway), even very bold colors didn’t feel drying on lips. I can highly recommend these lipsticks to you guys, they really are lovely.

Will I repurchase it? A definite YES as it takes care of my every expectation from a good lipstick and that is what we need girls. I just simple love this. Regardless of many brands available in the market, the Elixir is one of the handiest one compared with all the aspects that you will look for your gorgeous lipstick.
It gives perfect pigmentation, creamy texture and long lasting effect. However, as the saying goes that quality NEVER comes CHEAP. I invested Rs. 840 for this and for some reason there was a little pinch in my heart but never the less when I saw the result of this amazing lipstick, I feel that the investment has paid well.
