This is my first MF blush *woot* I got two of them in my weekend haul I am always looking for light blushes, which I can wear and I really dont crave “pink blushes” as I know I wont be able to wear them often, I fear looking pink :p and same with shimmer, hence I picked up two shade which are more or less regular wear blushes, definitely not pinks or bright pinks but very natural shades.

I like the simple packaging but the opening is a pain for my nails, I really hate it when i have to insert nails in order to open a container 🙁 but never mind, you get a simple brush inside, toss it asap, yes toss it in the trash can. The color is a pretty brownish brick peach kind of shade and it has very subtle shimmer, no it is not matte, it has this subtle sheen which is fine to add a glow on the cheeks, but not so harmful for open pores either, so it is fine but I prefer matte blushes any day.

pink blush

The cost is fine too I dont know but the packaging does not agree with the pricing, we could do with something much cooler. The shade is called chestnut and agrees with the shade.

now coming to the pigmentation it is above average, it is not excellent considering the smooth Ingot blushes I have used but it is not poor or hard either. The shimmer is very subtle but still open pores and scarred skin could avoid it. I personally love such shades because I pair them up with peach or light brick lipstiks and zi find it very natural, I think this would be really suitable for medium skin tone as the color would not be as stark and more natural on medium to darker skin tones.

Again, I would not place this color on the high of my cheek bones, I would place it in the hollow and then blend it.I feel the texture could be a little smooth and the pigmentation could be better, now that I have used so many blushes, but again the benefit of this kind of texture is that you dont end up picking too much and looking like a clown. The color is pigmented enough to stain the cheeks for around 5 hours so I am happy so far.

Overall it is not a bad blush but it is not the best I have tried, could be softer and more pigmented but otherwise delivers everything else, blends beautifully and stains the cheeks for 5 hours, I need from a blush plus it looks natural. I will be picking up more, and will recommend it for regular wear every day blush category.
