Blush: MaxFactor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush Review, Swatches

MaxFactor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush Review, Swatches

I was wondering about in one of the Lifestyle malls here recently and decided to get my HG foundation the Miracle Touch Illusion Foundation by Max Factor one of my favorite brands in the whole makeup world as its deliveries great things at just as good prices.

Then after a while waiting for the SA to get my shade in the mentioned foundation, I was left alone with the testers and something caught my attention, it was a shiny lippy thing with such a pretty shade that I had to try, and when I was going to swatch the shade on my arm I asked the SA β€˜ Lip gloss?’ to which she replied – Blush madam.

What made me beyond happy was the fact that not only it made pairs with my favorite foundation ever namely Miracle touch Creamy Blush, it’s also a 2 in 1 cheeks and lips sort of product, but also I was in for a surprise as the SA told me that, there is an offer going on, buy any 2 MF products and you get a free gift, you have to choose between a Mascara, Lipstick, Nail Paint or 2 different makeup pouches so I just had to have it πŸ˜€

So here are my choices I got my foundation and bought the blush because I truly loved it. Also I chose a pretty silver makeup pouch that’s all pink inside and full of partitions and 1 large pocket so it keep everything neatly.

I got my MIRACLE TOUCH CREAMY BLUSH in the Shade – Soft Cardinal

Max Factor about MIRACLE TOUCH CREAMY BLUSH:

Foundation might perfect your skin but a hint of cream blush is the secret weapon to a healthy glow. Now you can create the ultimate skin finish yourself with new Miracle Touch Creamy Blush. Designed to perfectly compliment the flawless results of Miracle Touch Foundation, this blend-easy blusher adds a radiant, dewy flush to all skin-types. Unlike powder blushers it also stays looking freshly applied throughout the day.

A naturally radiant glow never goes out of fashion but can be hard to achieve. Now you can find out exactly how to create the look by layering Creamy Blush over Miracle Touch Foundation. It’s easy to blend and surprisingly subtle for a fresh, fabulous result.

My experience with MaxFactor Creamy Blush:

I have this in Soft Cardinal. It’s a beautiful pinky coral with a very slight frost, which lends cheeks a healthy glow. This has a great creamy texture. It’s like a lipstick in a pot. In fact, it makes quite a nice lipstick. It looks equally nice on its own or topped with a gloss; I am not sure though if you use this as gloss what would be the outcome, as for review purposes I strictly use this as blush.

If you’re a sucker for a girly pink flush then all the 3 shades that I have seen available should suit you. This is the classic blusher with a purplish undertone. I like to put this on the apples but very sparingly because I hate looking like a clown.

I believe the shade is appropriate from fair-skinned to wheatish or darker completions as it does not tend to be offsetting on dark toned individuals (I saw the SA using it and it in a different shade and very complimentary).

I just dip a finger on the pan and dot an amount on each cheek. I swirl the cream concentrating on a concentric area not extending too much on the sides. What I generally love about this cream is its stretch ability. I apply with clean fingertips, and it’s easy to blend, has good staying power, and has not broken me out as my skin can be acne prone, but this doesn’t clog my pores.

I can spread the cream outwards while maintaining a subtle touch because it’s heavily pigmented. It looks merely like dyed cream with no shimmery particles or light diffusing properties. But it does create a pink radiance, a pleasant shine on the cheeks after wearing it for hours.

As I said it’s intensely pigmented so although it seems expensive for such a small amount (Rs: 565 5gm I guess), it will last ages. I have been using mine for the past 1 month almost daily to office and you can see that the top of the pan still looks intact.

I am really in love with this blush. I definitely prefer creamy blushes with creamy foundations and powder ones with powder foundations, and this creamy beauty is the best cream blush I’ve tried so far.

The packaging is a little flimsy, does not look the best, bit of a pain, bit cheap, but that won’t stop me from using and loving this. On the other hand I like that it is so small as it will fit in any bag, day, evening, or makeup. I might even check out some of the other colors.

It is really pigmented so you need the lightest touch when you apply – but it should also mean it will last a while; also it has a 3 year shelf live, so we are good.

This swatch is of only one swipe, so you can have the pigmentation idea. I does look very beautiful on the face and natural, it was late but if I get the chance to do a makeup look wearing this I will surely update the post.

Pros of Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush:

  • Great pigmented creamy blush
  • Easy to apply
  • Bendable beyond dreams
  • Dewy finish which I like
  • Does not clog pores

Cons of MAx Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush:

  • Cheapo/fragile packaging
  • For the price I wanted more product quantity πŸ™

  1. These little pots are really magical. I am loving cream blushes these days. They look more natural than the powder blushes and stay put for hours at a go. πŸ™‚

I loved the rusty almond kind of shade in this range. πŸ™‚

Btw regarding more quantity, I wonder if you’d be able to finish this up as well. 5 gm is a lot of product.. πŸ˜›
