My experience with Maybelline #190 Royal Red Moisture Extreme Lipstick :

Starting with the packaging, it comes in a classic Maybelline packaging. The body is copper red in colour. The name of the colour is printed at the bottom of the bullet. There is nothing new about it, however the packaging is durable and travel-friendly.

The lipstick slides up really easily. It has no fragrance to it, which is a plus point for me. The texture of the lipstick is extremely smooth. It glides on the lips efficiently. If you have ever tried any other lipstick from this range, then you would be familiar with its formula. It’s hydrating and smooth. It does not settle into lines on the lips. If you don’t have very dry lips, you won’t have to use a lip balm underneath the lipstick.

This lipstick has been in my kitty for quite a while, and it still is one of a kind. This is because of the colour of the lipstick. The colour is a blend between red and sunset orange. It brightens up the skin tone and is really easy to pull off. The best part is that it stays put for quite a while and the colour doesn’t disappear. It’s surely one of my mom’s favorite. It has a sheen finish. However, the only negative point about this lipstick is that it transfers really easily. To my surprise, it doesn’t bleed and stays put. The color would suit all skin stones, but I feel it looks the best on medium to fair skint ones.

Another great aspect of this lipstick is that it can be used at all times of the year. Or actually all red lipsticks rock all through the year 😉 One swipe of this colour is perfect for day time, you can build-up the colour and use it at night as well. It looks amazing with minimal makeup and eyeliner.

Would I a buy/ do I recommend Maybelline #190 Royal Red Moisture Extreme Lipstick ?
These day’s I’m really into matte reds, so presently I would not buy it again. However, I highly recommend this color to others, it’s a beautiful color.
