My Experience with Maybelline Baby Lips Color Bright Out Loud Beaming Violet:

This lip balm comes in a bright magenta colored plastic tube that bears funky yellow fonts on it. There is a sticker at the base of the lip balm tube indicating the shade name. The body of the tube is color coded to the color inside. The long and slender plastic tube fits anywhere in my makeup pouch and it is very easy to carry around. It can easily be carried in my pocket also. Once you open the cap, you will see the beautiful violet colored lip balm bullet inside. It has the regular twist-up mechanism that works pretty smoothly. The lip balm bullet is round in shape and has a slanted tip that gives a precise application. The cap of the lip balm tube fits tightly making an audible click sound and makes it fit for travel purposes. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.

The shade “Beaming Violet” is a bright magenta-colored lip balm. It is a bright and super girly pink shade. It looks gorgeous on the lips. This lip balm almost looks like a beautiful pink lip color on the lips. It is a perfect shade for the summers and apt to be worn to college or office. It instantly perks up my face and adds a nice glow to the entire look.

The pigmentation of the lip balm is semi opaque and easily buildable. The color looks so pretty on the lips. I have mild pigmentation on my lips and looks great on my lips too. It covers the pigmentation of my lips. It almost looks like a sheer lipstick. This baby lips has a very faint fragrance that is not bothersome.

The texture of the lip balm is great, it’s smooth and creamy. It is almost buttery smooth but the bullet does not break during application. This lip balm looks nice and juicy on the lips. It has menthol extract that gives an instant cooling and sensation to the lips. These lip balms are non sticky and feels comfortable on the lips. The lip balm comes with SPF-13 that helps to keep the lips protected from harsh sun rays and makes this lip balm fit to be used under the sun. It perfectly heals my dry and chapped lips. This lip balm does its job very well. My lips stay moisturized and hydrated for a pretty long time after using this lip balm. The color clings to the dry patches of the lips and highlights them so much.

The lasting power of the lip balm is somewhere around 5-6 hours on my lips. In the mean time, it loses its glossy sheen but the color stays on my lips all the time. My lips feel kind of hydrated with this lip balm. A hint of pink stays on my lips for a longer period of time, but it definitely requires reapplication after a full meal.

Overall, this is a good lip balm that offers good color payoff and moisturizes the lips well.
