This will badly remind you of the Colorbar pencils Take me as I am! Well, these are smaller but equally pigmented and smooth, the color and the pigmentation is through the roof, honestly.
Initially I thought Berry much would be too vampy, but turned out – it looks like a muted plum shade, not extremely blue-based. Light it up is a true orange red and very pigmented. The pencils are thick, they do not come with a sharpener but for me, I have a lot of jumbo sharpeners to use with the same. The pencils last a while before you need to sharpen them.I think product would be wasted but sharpening should happen only once in a while.
The colors are so pigmented, I simply get confused whether to line, fill or blend the color. Mostly, I fill the lips with an even layer and it covers the lips opaquely. It is very thick but once set, it just feels like your own lips. It could get cakey easily, so try to just blend like a stain or use the pencils very lightly in one coat.
You could use this to outline and then to fill it in. I am so surprised with the pigmentation, it completely covers the lips in one simple go. It lasts like forever! For me, it lasted 5 hours with full meals, of course, it leaves a color outline on the outer lips which desperately needs touch up. The colors are creamy, the red shade is almost matte, Berry Much has a slight amount of sheen to it, but almost close to matte.
One thing you may not like about the pencil is that visible line on the inner lips it leaves, that is because it kind of goes matte and sets lightly so it looks like your own lip skin, so take time to use it well, and check for touch up.
I feel this could feel slightly drying on very dry lips, but I did nto have any issues.Overall an amazing pigmented creamy, oqpaue, and lasting lipstick for the price. If they were to launch it in Indian for 400-500, this is bound to be a hit!
