I have been MIA since long and seriously I don’t know how the time flew. I intended to take just a couple of days off for my Los Angeles trip, but somehow, one thing or the other kept me away. But wherever I go, I miss writing for IMBB. And in all these days, I couldn’t even check IMBB regularly, so I have a lot to catch up. 🙁 Anyway, my first product that I have up for review after the break is a brow pencil. Filling in and defining your eyebrows makes a lot of difference to our brows and face. I am pretty late to jump on the bandwagon. I always wanted to buy a brow product, but couldn’t decide which one to pick. I finally picked Maybelline Brow Define And Fill Duo By Eyestudio in the shade “Deep Brown.”

My Experience with Maybelline Brow Define and Fill Duo in Deep Brown:

Packaging:  I had picked this pencil a couple of months back and I have really worn it a lot of times now. The pencil comes in a cardboard box packaging which carries all the details about the product. The product comes in a dual-ended pencil with one end as the defining pencil and the other end contains the filling powder. Both the ends are secured with caps making the product travel friendly. The cap on the brow powder reflects the color of the product.

Shade:  Maybelline Brow Define And Fill Duo By Eyestudio comes in four shades with deep brown being the darkest. The shade, as the name suggests, is deep dark brown. However, I find it a little lighter for my dark, black brows. Though the product looks very much natural after the brow powder is applied, it looks really good in photographs. 😀

Application:  Application is easy and the pencil goes on smoothly. The pencil is thin to define the brows with precision and is not very soft or breakable but a little hard, but I guess this is fine as it helps the product in staying put and not melting away. The powder end is like a smudger and really eases the application. It fills in all the gaps and gives the brows an even and neat look.

Staying Power:  The staying power of the pencil is great. It stays on for the whole day. I have worn it in hot and humid days in California, during my trip and it did stay put with all the site-seeing and roaming around till I removed it at the end of the day. It came off easily with a makeup remover. For reference, I have dry skin.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Maybelline Brow Define and Fill Duo in Deep Brown?
This is my first brow product, so I cannot compare it with any other product. But this one is really good on its own. 😀 I would definitely recommend this to everyone, especially for people who are new and don’t want to spend a bomb. As for me, I would like to try out different products but might repurchase it again. 🙂
