I apologize for not showing up on IMBB at all since last two weeks. I had gone to watch Shuddh Desi Romance the day I came back from home and ended up with a sprained foot because I missed a step while climbing down the stairs at PVR. 😛 because of all the mess my sprained foot caused me, I hardly got time for IMBB. I had to manage alone with all the hostel work, studies, coaching classes and duties and that too with a foot which could hardly walk. Well, while I was on bed rest, I did a lot of online shopping which included makeup and necklaces mostly. A big thanks to Rati di and Neha di for inspiring me to wear necklaces because I am totally loving them.
You know I was looking for Maybelline Cheeky Glow blushes since the day these were launched. I found them at a counter in Shoppers Stop but the SA told me that these were not available for sale yet. After a few days, I saw these at an online site and I just couldn’t resist myself from getting all the three shades.

My experience with Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush – Peachy Sweetie
Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blushes come in a tiny white jar with a transparent lid. The packaging is travel friendly and can fit easily in any vanity bag or purse because of the small size. I like that the blush is packed in dome shaped. The packaging is quite delicate, so one needs to avoid dropping it. The online site from which I bought this blush had applied stickers all over the lid. So, the lid is all blurry because of the glue.
Peachy Sweetie is a peachy pink color. This color will suit all skin tones and will provide a very natural flushed look to fair skin tones. It has silver shimmer in it but the shimmer is hardly visible on cheeks. In fact, the shimmer gives a nice glow to the cheeks. Being a very natural color, it will look great in office, college and everywhere where you require a natural look. This color might look a bit ashy on dark skin tones. The pigmentation of the color is quite weak so it requires 3-4 swipes to show up on cheeks. This will be a plus point for makeup beginners.
The quality of this blush is awesome. It’s very soft and smooth but not at all chalky or powdery. It looks very natural and doesn’t look uneven or patchy at all. I have oily skin and it stays on my face for just about 2-3 hours. It may stay a bit longer on dry skin and in winters but still because of the short staying power, I skip it on days where I require my blush to stay all day long.
Pros of Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush – Peachy Sweetie:
• A very natural color which gives a nice flush to cheeks.
• Great for daily wear.
• Awesome texture.
• Very soft and smooth.
• Blends without any effort.
• Doesn’t look chalky.
• Nice tiny attractive packaging.
Cons of Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush – Peachy Sweetie:
• Color might look ashy on dark skin tones.
• Poor pigmentation.
• Less staying power.
Will I recommend/ do I recommend Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush – Peachy Sweetie?
Absolutely. Considering the price, the cons are nothing. In this era, we don’t get a decent blush for less than Rs 500 and Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blushes are just for Rs 250. It’s definitely worth it.
