How are you all doing? I did not really understand what was up with this weather for the last few days? Raining, really? It is so unexpected in the month of February. I pretty much don’t know whether to wear sleeveless clothes, or hoodies since it is cold or carry an umbrella! It is so complicated. Anyways, that was the weather report lol 🙂 . My pick for today are some cute makeup remover wipes from Maybelline. These wipes are not available in India. But I got them from the US because I so wanted to try these. So let’s start. 🙂

My Experience with Maybelline Clean Express! Facial Towelettes:

Facial wipes prove to be really helpful when we have had a busy day and do not have the strength to take a make-up remover and remove our makeup. Hence I use these wipes because they work instantly within seconds. The ones I got are from Maybelline Clean Express! The towelettes come in a candy colored baby pink packaging. The packaging is very handy and easy to use. It also has a transparent paper cap, similar to that of other wipes. Care has to be taken to close the paper cap correctly or the moisture in the wipes may just go away and thus leaving plain papers inside. The pack contains 25 wipes, in comparison to other brands I think the price is pretty high. Also because they are just disposable wipes, which are not going to last. The wipes are pure white in color and the sheets are pretty big in size. One wipe is more than enough for the face and neck.

These wetness of the wipes is really good. It has a soapy film on the wipe, but it never irritates my skin. The fragrance is calming and soothing and not over-powering at all. I also was a little scared to use these wipes for the eyes, but I did and to my surprise it did not irritate at all. Most wipes sting the eyes, but this proved me wrong. It effectively removes all the make-up from my face, be it waterproof or not. My face does not have much makeup so it removes all the dirt in just one swipe. It also removes heavy eye makeup including waterproof mascara and eye liner. Although it takes a little longer than usual, but it does the job nicely.

These wipes feel very soft and gentle on the skin and does not cause any rashes. A thin film of soap is left on my skin, so I always wash it off before sleeping. These wipes are so far the most amazing ones I have ever used because most of them usually irritate my eyes, hence I have always had the need to maintain a separate one for eyes. But this is a versatile one and works for both eyes and face. Hence I am more than happy with this one. If you are okay with the cost, then surely grab these.

• The wipes are pre-moistened and the wetness is really good.

• The wipes are really huge in size, hence one wipe is more than enough for the face and eyes.
• It removes all the dirt and makeup very effectively in 1-2 swipes.
• It does not sting the skin at all.
• It does not irritate the eyes and removes even waterproof eye makeup effectively.
• It hydrates dry skin.
• It has a mild baby lotion kind of fragrance.

Cons of Maybelline Clean Express! Facial Towelettes:

• Expensive because they are just disposable wipes, which are not going to last.
• Not available in India.

Would I repurchase/recommend Maybelline Clean Express! Facial Towelettes?

Yes I will definitely if I get a chance to! Because I am really impressed with these wipes. The best part was that they are versatile, they can be used for the face and eyes as well, hence we do not need to have 2 separate ones. In case I don’t get these then I will purchase the Clean Express makeup remover that is available here. 🙂

Conclusion: Make-up wipes are something that we always keep in our bag, especially during summers. Currently these are most liked facial wipes. They did not disappoint me in anyway. Hence grab them if you get the chance. 🙂
