I have hauled a few lipsticks from Maybelline’s Inti-Matte N*de Collection. This range comprises of lipsticks from their powder matte and creamy matte collection. Today, I am going to review Maybelline Colorsensational Inti-Matte N*des Lipstick in the shade “Just A Teaser,” which is a part of their “Creamy Matte” range. My Experience with Maybelline Color Sensational Inti-Matte Nudes Lipstick Just A Teaser:
The lipstick comes in the regular Maybelline Colorsensational packaging, what makes it different from other Colorsensational lipsticks is matte n*de plastic cap, which is same for all the shades of the range and does not change according to the color family since it is the Inti-Matte N*des Collection. The lipstick tube is rectangular and comes wrapped in a cellophane paper, which has necessary details about the product. There is a color-coded sticker at the base of the lipstick tube, which bears the shade name. The cap of the lipstick tube shuts securely making it purse friendly. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.
“Just A Teaser” is a peachy n*de kind of shade with some brownish hue. This is a pretty shade but it is exclusively flattering for fair skin tones. Though, it is a pale shade, but thankfully, it does not wash me out and it goes well with my complexion. This is beautiful everyday shade. It looks stunning with signature black smoky eyes. This is a subtle shade for everyday use. The lipstick does not contain any sheen or shimmer.
It sets to a soft velvety matte finish. It looks creamy and slightly shiny initially and later it sets to a pretty velvety matte finish. The formula is decently pigmented, one swipe gives sheer coverage. I apply two-three coats to get that perfect even color on the lips. The color spreads evenly on the lips and never gets patchy. It is capable of hiding pigmentation of the lips.
The texture of the lipstick is good. Most of the matte lipsticks are drying or they crack after sometime but the formula of this lipstick is buttery smooth. It goes pretty smoothly on the lips without causing any dragging. The texture is so soft and buttery smooth. Since, it is a matte lip color, so it has the tendency to cling to the dry patches of the lips, which is seen in almost every matte lip color. So, prior exfoliation and moisturization of the lips well is mandatory. It is so lightweight and feels super comfortable on the lips. It does not have a thick and heavy texture. The lipstick is very moisturizing and nourishing. It is non-drying matte lipstick. It keeps my lips hydrated & nourished. It looks lovely on the lips and never gets patchy. Such pale shades have streaking issues but this lipstick looks even on the lips. The color stays at place and does not budge after meals. It does not settle into the fine lines of the lips. The lipstick has a tendency to transfer a bit. I am happy with the fact that the formula is not heavily transferring.
The lipstick lasts for approximately 4-5 hours on my lips with a little fading. It survives light meals but does not survive heavy meals and fades away completely.
