Maybelline Color Sensational Lipsticks – Crazy For Coffee and Copper Brown

The products I will be reviewing today are the ones that have been receiving a lot of love in blogosphere. It is the Maybelline Colorsensational Lipsticks – Crazy For Coffee (275) and Copper Brown (775).
Maybelline Colorsensational has an amazing range of colours from browns to pinks and from reds to plums. You would surely find at least a few shades in there that you would love. :love:

My Take on Maybelline Color Sensational Lipsticks – Crazy For Coffee and Copper Brown:
Both the colours I have picked are from Maybelline Colorsensational’s brown range of lippies. The packaging looks classy, but tends to develop some scratches over time, not that I mind it though 😉
The shade names and numbers are mentioned below the case. In fact Copper Brown which is a shimmery shade also has a shimmery sticker!
Both lippies have a caramel toffee fragrance that I love. : love:
They are well pigmented, creamy, moisturizing and glide so smoothly on the lips. They do not dry out my lips at all and stay put for 3-4 hours, post which they fade evenly. I do not use any lip pencil, yet the colours do not bleed.
Crazy For Coffee (275):
I was looking for a shade that I could wear everyday and decided to check out the very famous and popular My Mahogany from the same range. I had almost picked it up, when the SA swatched this as well. I found this shade looked better against my skin tone. My lips are quite pigmented, so this goes on quite nude on my lips. This is my MLBB shade. :yahoo: I end up wearing it everywhere. I would describe this as a pink-toned brown. It is a colour that would suit most Indian skin tones and is great for daily wear.
Copper Brown (775):
The second colour that I selected was Copper Brown (775). I was looking for a shade that I could wear for formal occasions (read weddings). This is a medium brown lipstick with shimmer. However, it is not over the top and looks great with ethnic wear. I sometimes like layering this over other lipsticks to give it a different look.
What I Liked about Maybelline Color Sensational Lipsticks – Crazy For Coffee and Copper Brown:
- Good pigmentation.
- Creamy, does not dry out the lips.
- Stays on for about 3-4 hours.
- Classy and sturdy packaging.
- Affordable.
- Easily available.
- Wide range of shades, especially which suit Indian skin tones.
- Love the fragrance.
What I Did Not Like About Maybelline Color Sensational Lipsticks – Crazy For Coffee and Copper Brown:
Some people might not like the fragrance, but it is not a problem for me.
Price:
Rs. 299 for 4.02 gms (each).
Would I Purchase It Again?
Yes and I would also like to explore more shades from the Colorsensational line.
