Maybelline Color Sensational Pink Perfection Gloss Review, Swatch

Hello beautifuls 😉 !

I was so much like why-to-use-a-lipstick types. I hated them but somewhere deep inside my heart I knew they look good 😀 so, finally my heart won and I bought my first lip gloss – Maybelline Color Sensational Pink Perfection.

I wanted some light pink tinted gloss so started searching online for a good one. I usually buy stuff from Flipkart so browsed there only. The color shown on the website was a far cry from the actual color. Obviously, I got to know only after I had bought it . 🙁
Anyways, I thought may be with this review I could help others to make the right choice.

So, here it goes.

I got it for Rs. 250 (Price mentioned on the bottle = Rs. 260)

•  This gloss can go with almost all the looks if one wants to have a light makeup.
•  The applicator was the usual one we get with glosses and was a good one [This was my first one so can’t really compare to the other brands’ applicators]
•  Moisture wise, it was a good one but after the gloss gets vanished [in nearly 1-2 hours], lips get dried until you apply the gloss again.
• There is a little shimmer [only shimmer] when you apply the gloss which would give you the feeling that you have applied something on your lips 😀

•  The fragrance is a little like a toffee.
•  The packaging (as shown in the picture above) is transparent so you can easily see the shade [until you buy it online :|]
•  The gloss is soft and creamy and doesn’t feel much heavy on the lips.

Pros:

•  Because of the n*de color, it would go with almost all the looks including but not limited to casual, party, college, office etc. etc.
•  As it has a soft and creamy texture, it won’t feel heavy on lips.
•  The fragrance is good so is the taste.
• Non sticky.

Cons:

•  Doesn’t last longer.
•  No ingredient list/brand name on the packaging.

Rating – 3/5

I’d try the other shades of the series but not this one again as I didn’t like the color much.

Still, if you like a transparent gloss, this is the one you would like . 🙂
