Maybelline has recently launched the new Color Sensational Powder Matte Lipstick range, and I was intrigued to try one of these for sure. Since nowadays I love more of pastels and nudes, I decided on to choose a nude wearable shade for myself and bought the shade “Touch of Nude”.

My Experience with Maybelline color sensation Powder matt Lipstick:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a basic Maybelline’s color-coordinated-with-the-shade packaging. The cap is in a matte finish, and the name of the shade is mentioned at the bottom of the bullet. I find the packaging to be simple yet classy.
Shade: The shade, I chose is ‘Touch of Nude’, which is a lovely baby pink color with cool undertones. It’s a beautiful nude shade which will look amazing on light to medium skin tones.
Texture: The texture of the lipstick is true to its name: Powder-like! It’s so lightweight and glides like a feather on your lips and settles into a comfortable matte formula. You won’t feel you are wearing anything on your lips. Even women with dry lips will love the texture. Trust me, Maybelline has hit the stone with this kind of formulation.
Pigmentation: The lipstick is highly pigmented. Just 1-2 swipes are enough for full pigmentation and coverage. Moreover, it won’t dry your lips or make them feel heavier.
Staying Power: It stays for good 5-6 hours without smudging on my lips. However, a meal can make the lipstick fade away from the inner corner of lips, which is the case with every other lipstick. A quite impressive staying power for this range.
Overall, it’s an amazing lipstick, which feels soft on lips and does not dry them or accentuate the dryness. I’m quite impressed with the formulation. Also, the shade ‘touch of nude’ will be loved by all nude lipstick lovers. It’s a perfect shade for college going girls and working women.
