Summers are here and I got the perfect lip color for this summer and spring. I was searching for fuchsia color, as it’s the hot color this season, but couldn’t find a perfect match for my medium skin tone. Anyways, while I was on a hunt for fuchsia color I accidentally found Maybelline color sensational vivid lip color in Hot Plum 900 and I totally fell for this color at the first sight.

What I feel about Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Lip Color – Hot Plum:

This hot, magenta-pink with a plush finish lip color is surely good for everyday wear as this feels light even if you pile it on .It won’t feel heavy at all. The color doesn’t bleed!  As the color is little glossy not matte it won’t stay for a very long period but it surely fades into a beautiful stain of purplish pink on your lips. I found this shade neither hydrating nor drying but I did apply lip balm on the lips before applying this color as it gives a smoother look.

It does smell like honey nectar but doesn’t taste weird. This rich, vivid purplish pink color certainly brighten up my day and my face too .I also love its packaging as it comes in bright neon orange sturdy cover with a silver bullet which is common for all its shades.So one has to see at the bottom of the lipstick to identify the shade. After wearing it on various occasions & outings (and also getting all those compliments  🙂 ) I found mostly pros about this color.
