I had been off writing on IMBB for a long time. I missed you all so much. But I did check on the site at least once a day. Maybelline is my favorite makeup brand. It is quite affordable for a college going girl like me. Their Color Show range has some of the amazing products in some wonderful shades. Maybelline Color Show crayon kohl was launched some time back. I own the Shiny Beige and Green shades of this range. So today I will be reviewing the Green shade.

My take on Maybelline Color Show Crayon Kohl – Green

The packing of the product is quite trendy and chic. It comes in a black twist container. The cap is of green color which indicates the color of the kohl. The way “Color Show Crayon Kohl” written is eye-catching. The cap closes tightly which prevents it from drying and is also travel friendly.
The shade I got is a pastel green shade and I totally love it. It would really make your eyes look pretty and suit almost all skin tones. It has got shimmer particles in it. The eyeliner is a little hard to apply but on the other hand it would also break away easily. As the color is a bit light you would need to apply 2-3 shades to get the desired shade.

I apply only black kohl on my waterline so can’t say how would it fare if applies on waterline. But it does brighten up your look when applied as eyeliner. I sometimes also use it as an eye shadow and it works pretty well. The staying power of the eyeliner is 7-8 hours. It doesn’t smudge or fade even a bit in that time duration. It is also waterproof as even after washing my face with plain water the eyeliner remained intact.

Cons of Maybelline Color Show Crayon Kohl – Green

• Little hard to apply but delicate. I broke it during application
• Need to apply 3-4 times to get a visible shade.
• Cannot be applied on waterline as it won’t look good.

Yeah. It is a pretty pastel green shade which you won’t regret having.
