Hope you all are doing great! Today, I am reviewing a lip product from the Maybelline Color Whisper range. The shade is Made-It Mauve and the shade number is 80.

Product Details:

For Best Results:

Apply your lip color by starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.

My Experience with Maybelline Color Whisper Lipstick –Made It Mauve:

The Color Whisper lipstick range from Maybelline comes with a unique gel-like formula, which provides color and hydrates the lips.

Packaging:

The lipstick comes in a silver tube with a translucent, color coordinated cap. The cap fit snugly enough to carry it in your bag without worrying.  The shade name and number are printed on a sticker at the bottom of the tube. This lipstick tube and the lipstick bullet are slightly thinner than a regular lipstick, though the same height. The quantity you get is only 3 gm as compared to the usual 4 gm.

Color:

A beautiful, warm, rosy mauve that can work as an everyday color for all skin tones.

Pigmentation:

The pigmentation is really good, considering that it is a lip balm-like product. A couple of swipes would produce a color opaque enough to cover pigmented lips.

Scent:

The lipstick smells like sweet candy! I love the smell!

Texture:

This lipstick has a gel-like texture. It glides easily on the lips and feels quite comfortable. There is no greasy or sticky feel. It is quite moisturizing as well. My dry lips do not need an additional lip balm when I use this. These feel much lighter on the lips when compared to the Revlon lip butters.

Finish:

The finish is slightly glossy. The color and the texture is such that it is quite forgiving on chapped lips too! It does not accentuate dry spots on the lips.

Longevity:

Lasts for about 3 hours, after which it starts fading. Because it is so creamy, it transfers a bit and will not be able to survive a meal.

• Quantity you get is lesser than a normal lipstick.

I love this color and formula! It is perfect for everyday/office use. It can be used even without a mirror, just like a tinted lip balm, but with more color! Do try it!
