Today, I will be reviewing a BB cream from Maybelline called Dream Pure BB cream. If you follow some youtubevloggers, you would know that this is one of the most raved BB creams launched last year. There is one more called Dream Fresh BB cream which has already been reviewed. This is a gift from a friend who was recently coming from a trip to Europe and got this amongst other goodies. This BB cream has many variations across globe and is different in different regions. This one as you can see is a French version. Read on to know more about this cream.

How to Use:

Apply a thin layer on skin. Can be used with or without a moisturizer.

My Experience with Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream in Medium/Light Shade:

To start with this is not only a BB cream, but an anti-acne treatment. It is more like a skincare product and this is what I could ask for at this point when my skin is so sensitive and has become acne-prone. The packing is cute and not boring like the one we get in India. When it comes to consistency, Dream Pure BB Cream is much thicker but still feels very light. It does not feel heavy at all on the skin and gets absorbed instantly.

The coverage is the same as other BB creams by Maybelline, very light but build-able. The shade that I got is Light, but light for my skin tone but manageable. I would have preferred light/medium shade for me.It gives a nice matte finish to face rather dewy which the local one gives.You can actually use it as a foundation. The Dream Pure BB from Maybelline blurs imperfections of the skin as light blemishes and pimples to an extent. It does not give a cakey look at all, infact it goes perfectly well with your skin. The cream also has a nice fragrance to it, not very cosmetic like but nice perfumed smell.

The best part is that it contains 2% salicylic acid, making it great for people with oily skin or spotty skin. It even controls oil rather making skin oily like other BB creams. And last but not the least it comes with a great SPF protection. It moisturizes my skin well, not a replacement in winter but would definitely work in summer when applied alone and especially for oily-skinned beauties. Overall,I am very much satisfied with the product.
