This is my first blush from the Maybelline Dream Touch range and probably the last. Read on to know more about the product.
Price – Rs 400 for 7.5gm
Product Description:
1. Cream Whipped Blush.
2. Ultra Blendable.
3. Natural-looking flush of colour.
Why you’ll Love It:
• Ultra soft cream-whipped blush.
• Refined colour pigments for better colour payoff.
• Ultra blendable, it melts into your skin effortlessly.
• A lighter than air fell on skin and an all-day freshly applied look.
Expert Tip:
With your fingertips, pat a small amount of blush onto the apples of your cheeks. Use feathery strokes to blend gently from your cheekbones to your temples. To build colour intensity, apply more blush.
My Experience with Maybelline Dream Touch Blush 04:
The blush comes in a simple but cute, lightweight glass pot with a screw off cap. The colour of the cap corresponds to the shade of the blush. Though the tub is made of glass it is not difficult to carry around due to the compact size and perfect fitting cap.
The texture of the blush is soft, lightweight and creamy. It feels like butter when fingers are swirled on it. Though there are shimmers in it, it blends well on the cheeks giving a hint of peachy pink with a whole lot of shimmer.
The peachy-pink color comes off pretty sheer on my NC 42 skin tone. I believe this shade would suit people with skin tones NC 35 or below and with dry skin in particular; the shimmers give the highlighted look which the oily skinned beauties get without a highlighter.
The staying power varies from 3-4 hours. After that the color fades and the shimmers remain to give the highlighted look to the makeup. I would say it is an average low-pigmented blush which can be skipped easily; there are better options available in the market.
Pros of Maybelline Dream Touch Blush 04:
• Simple color coded packaging.
• Wearable peachy pink shade.
• Doubles up as highlighter.
Cons of Maybelline Dream Touch Blush 04:
• Very sheer.
• Not for oily skin.
• Tub packaging.
• Staying power could have been better.
