I am here with the review of my favorite eyeshadow palette from Maybelline.  I picked this from Amazon along with the Maybelline Fit Me Blush – Deep Coral.  So, here you go with the review:

My Take on Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow – Sunbaked Neutrals:

Well, I’m a lover of browns and neutrals. Be it lipstick or eye shadows, I am mostly drawn towards the neutrals/browns.  So, that is how I picked this as well.  The pack is pretty decent and sturdy. The 8 pools of shades are placed neatly in a rectangular box with 4 on top and 4 in the bottom.  It comes with 2 sponge applicators. I have not used it till date. I prefer my own brushes. It doesn’t occupy much space and easy to carry while you travel.

Now, coming to the shades in this palette, they are true to the name. Neutrals with which you can create “n” number of looks.  The palette comes with mix of matte and simmers. Two matte browns, shimmery greens and gold plus highlighters. Out of the 8, my favorite shades are matte chocolate brown in the bottom row and the champagne color in the top row. These are so good to make a soft smoky everyday look.

The texture is smooth and buttery and blends easily with a brush or with fingers. I’m not a pro in doing eye makeup, but still I manage blending these shades very well and I love the looks I get to make with these cuties.

To speak about the pigmentation, they do give good color pay off, but the highlighters are chalky for me and there is fallout. The colors stay on my oily lids for almost 5-6 hours, without a base or primer.

These are perfect and subtle for a day time soft look and for a night look where you have the shimmers and the gorgeous greens.

What I Like about Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow – Sunbaked Neutrals:

• Gorgeous collections of shades.
• Perfect for a soft or smokey look.
• Reasonably priced, 8$ for 8 pans of colors.
• Decent pigmentation.
• Staying power of approximately 6 hours– pretty good.
• Blends easily and silky smooth texture.
• Sturdy packaging and easy to slip in your bag.

What I Do Not Like about Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow – Sunbaked Neutrals:

• There is a certain amount of fall out.
• Not available in India.

If you love neutrals and prefer soft eye makeup, then pick this one.

I love this cutie. This is my current favorite eye makeup product and I am using it almost every day. I find this subtle for everyday office wear. Most frequently used shades are the choc brown and the champagne shade. I will soon run out of stock, but this is worth buying again 🙂
