Makeup setting sprays have now become a must for all of us since we take so much effort to do our makeup and we obviously want it to last long on our face. I have never used any makeup setting spray before, so this is my first one and it had to be from Maybelline. I picked it up during summers to keep my makeup from melting down. Read on to find it whether it worked or not.

My Experience with Maybelline Facestudio Master Fix Wear-Boosting Setting Spray:
The Maybelline makeup setting spray comes in a matte black packaging along with hot pink and white which makes it look attractive. It is a 100 ml bottle which is of the size of my palm. It has a good quantity but I just use this once in a while when needed. It has a spray nozzle which works absolutely fine. The bottle is sturdy and handy at the same time too. I think the price is fine because most of the makeup setting sprays cost a lot higher than this one.
The consistency is just like water. It feels just like a facial mist on the face. It is very watery so I don’t spray everything at once; I go gradually with each spray. It loads my face with wetness which takes a long time to dry. The drying process is very tedious. It goes gentle on the skin without irritating it or causing rashes. It initially opens up with a dewy finish which will be good for dry skin but for oily skin, it might be a turn off since the skin might look a bit oily and greasy. It settles down to a matte finish after a good wait and sets the makeup well.
My face becomes matte which is great since I have combination skin type. It sets my makeup really well but my foundation is a bit thick, so I think it does alter the colour of the foundation a bit. It also alters the finish of my makeup and creates creases, but it does extend the staying power of the makeup by a few hours. So, it is a good option to try if you have to attend some functions or weddings that will go all day long.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Maybelline Facestudio Master Fix Wear-Boosting Setting Spray?
No, I might try some other drugstore product like this! I am not sure how many would like it, if you have used high-end ones, then this might not work for you. If you are a beginner, then go for it. I expected it to be a lot better since I have high expectations from Maybelline!
